Before we all break up for the school summer hols, or break down with our alleged Alpha Mummy lifestyles - who fancies lunch in Spitalfields?

Dates I'd like to suggest are Thursday 12th July or Monday 16th July...

Hello. I'd love to come but like anniemac it's a 1000-to-1 shot for me. So don't book for me - I'll turn up if I'm back in London by then from where I am now. I've only been to one of these before but I'll recognise Novembergirl (no-one else though!)

We usually have one or two unavoidable no-shows so will squeeze either or both of you in if you do make it

Ah yes, I'd recognise you too anniemac, but I'm not counting on you being there for me to recognise...

how odd I had 16th in my diary never mind can probably do a shortish lunch tomorrow. Who will I recognise? [worried emoticon]

I will be with you in spirit only. Originally couldn't make it because DS2 finishes at the co-op at 1:15, was thinking about dropping by for dessert. But now he has the dreaded pox, started today, so absolutely will be emminently contagious tomorrow, so restaurants are a no-go.

Maybe next time?

In just over a year, both children will be at school fulltime, and I might be able to actually meet for lunch .

Horrible news
I am so sorry everyone, I was a bit frazzled yesterday and forgot to book (Tuesday also - lot on at work and home this week)
They are FULLY BOOKED (since Monday, which is of very small comfort)

I'm also having to bow out anyway due to the bus I was on being in a traffic accident (minor but I have hurt my leg - oh, what the hell, my behind - and am a bit shocked.

Given that this is my fault for not booking earlier, what can I do to sort things out now? Do you want me to try and get a table here Pizza Pomodoro in Bishopsgate Churchyard
where we have been in the past and which is child-friendly and nice?
