We met at Fell foot last year and I am feeling braver now and may even speak

GDG - Can you do Thursday? I slightly favour Wednesday, but it seems like Thursday suits others better.

Thursday is not impossible - it just means I have to drive back down to Manchester that evening - not a big deal really. If JT is happy with it, I can come up to Lakes on the Wed, stay one night, do the maze and drive back after.

Yes, I think Thursday sounds likely avec picnic, weather-permitting.

We tend to be early birds, so will probably get there fairly promptly (it opens at 10). But I'm optimistic of sending dh and the boys into the maze, whilst I enjoy some peace and hang around waiting for everyone to arrive.
