The week you are suggesting - 30th Jul - 3rd Aug works for me. Kids are 9 & 6 and will baby be 3 months by then - so maize place works for us.

Maize Maze -there were vouchers with our local paper today for a free tractor ride (Roisin /Diva?) and I have 2 that I will have to remember to bring!

Hi, would v much like to come too but wondered if anyone would be travelling from Carlisle area and wanted to get train..only passed test recently and don't have access to car!!

JT- We are looking at 1/2 Aug atm can you do them?

mamabear2b - it's a bit off the beaten track. Short of leaping off the train whilst it's moving, I'm not sure you could get very close by train or bus.

Unless JT has more accurate local info?

Oh well never mind, that'll teach me not to have learnt to drive at 17 like everyone else I know instead of 30!!

On the plus side DH has said we can go next weekend together and he'll drive - hurrah!!

I can potentially do one day this coming week. I can't do Friday cos I'm having my nails done! So if I want to stay over at JT's - Wed 1st is best for me (sorry, thinking out loud there!).

I really fancy the maize maze and it's on JT's doorstep!

Hols were absolutely fantastic. On top of all the wildlife we saw last year (eagles, deer, otter, seals, etc. etc.) we also saw a Minke Whale and a pod of Bottlenose Dolphins this year
