I miss the different shades of green fields and the fluffy sheep.Really!! And Marks&Spencers and Boots - just nothing like it here. I met a nanny here from Lewis, years back. She is now is Glasgow with a DH and 2DDs.Lost touch sadly but she was really nice.
I did Higher Italian at school then did a local council course here when I first came over then just picked it up hanging out with Italians. You ever been over here??
Do i understand right that you are in Belfast??

starfairy · 08/02/2007 21:25

32 miles from Belfast place called Portadown.

Never been to Italy but would love to go. Dont know why but I imagine it to be romantic, dunno why .

Some places can be but not the greater Milan area!More like Glasgow than the typical image of an Italian town.Suppose who you're with makes a difference.George Clooney's mega house is not that far - would be romantic with him anywhere!
How come you in Portadown?Name rings a bell.

starfairy · 08/02/2007 21:34

Xp from village just outside Portadown. When we parted I decided.

Would love to go to Canada.

Do you come back to Scotland much & what does Dd think of it??

Hi, I live in Aberdeenshire, though I'm not Scottish. And actually, I'm not currently living in Scotland, either! (So why am I on this thread? ) My ds2 and dd1 are at uni in Aberdeen, Ery71. Ds is doing a PhD and dd is in second year. What about your niece and nephew?
