Northern Mumsnet Meet-up

Rhubarb · 27/05/2002 14:16

Anyone want to come to a Mumsnet meet up here in the North? I don't want it to be exclusively for Northerners though, so if any of you can make it, please post your ideas here.

I'm relying on public transport so I would prefer to meet somewhere that isn't too hard to get to, like Manchester, which might also be good middle ground for those who live further afield. But if any of you know of anywhere better please tell me.
I'm also assuming that a Saturday is ok.

If anyone is interested please post your names here and then when we have a suitable number of people I will give out my email and we can make proper arrangments.

Ferrets are optional!

It's OK, Rhuby dear, I was only teasing!
Never mind the Muslim, what happened to your tramp?
Keep us posted on your accident, won't you!

MABS · 29/07/2002 18:38

Rhubarb - love you to come to the Brighton one. We're thinking of a Saturday lunchtime in Sept. Would that suit ? mabs

Rhubarb · 30/07/2002 14:03

Will have to see what happens with the 'accident' MABS. I do hope I'm not, but we'll have to wait and see. Also depends when in September, my dh's birthday is on the 30th so the nearest weekend to that is out. But thanks for the invite, I will watch the proceedings and will let you know asap.

BTW Janh, the tramp went off happily with his pint of Guinness! How did you get on Tinker?

Jendy · 07/08/2002 15:37

Does anyone know what is the best way of contacting each other - I feel a bit apprehensive giving personal contact details on here especially after some of the things I've related about my dh's family. Rhubarb what did you do?

leander · 07/08/2002 16:47

Jendy, you still out there?

Bozza · 07/08/2002 16:54

I've never done this but I think that if you e-mail mumsnet at the contactus e-mail address and request them to pass on your details to specific individuals they will do so. You may have to include your Talk password to prove you are genuine.

Kanesmum · 07/08/2002 20:56

Hi everyone, not been online for a bit computer keeps playing up, think I'll have to talk dh into parting with some cash. Leander can't believe you know someone else on mumsnet. I was spooked that we met through this. How's your ds? I bet he's into all sorts now. My ds is trying to walk (in a fashion). It's quite funny to watch. Are you still working?

leander · 07/08/2002 21:43

leander · 08/08/2002 09:32

leanderxx

Jendy · 08/08/2002 16:49
