I was just wondering if anyone is interested in a follow up to to the Christmas bash. I personally had a great time. I think there was some talk about one in Birmingham a whle ago but I'm not what ever came of it.

So would anyone be interested in one in London (assuming it doesn't conflict one in Birmingham -- don't want to step on any toes of course!)

Anyone interested? Say sometime in May (but not the 19th)?

I can do either the 5th or 12th.

littlemisssensible · 05/02/2007 14:14

I could do either date at the moment!

pudding77 · 05/02/2007 14:21

I can do either atm but the 5th is the weekend of the May bank holiday - just so you know

peachygirl · 05/02/2007 14:27

I had to pull out of the christmas one but would like to come.
Hopefully baby (due soon) will be settled enough by then or I could put her in a sling if where we go isn't too smokey.

quokka · 05/02/2007 14:39

uwila just thinking that ds1 bday is 9th and dh's is the 16th, so usually do something for them both on the weekend in the middle. Nevermind I still might be able to make it just can't do a sleep over.

Perhaps we should stick with the 12th (since Quokka can still come --- phew!)

Okay, back to where to go... someone must have a bar suggestion (one I'm not too old to go to).

I've jus seen the Mile for Maude is on 12 May. Should we change the date?

OP posts:
Paddlechick666 · 08/02/2007 09:16

yeah i think that's a good idea Uwila.

I deff want a night out but I'm keen to do the walk with dd as well.

littlemisssensible · 08/02/2007 09:39

I was actually pleased they're on the same day!

Was going to come up to London to do walk then lunch/afternoon tea with mofo girls then booze up with youse guys!

Then crash for the night in a conveniently cadged bed/hostelry if can't cadge bed, then home late Sunday afternoon!

Still, if it's better to move it for other people then I guess I can rearrange!

uwila · 08/02/2007 09:45

That's true littlemisssensible. I'll probably get a hotel as well. So a day out for the walk then off to the hotel to change, and then home on Sunday might be a wrkable plan.

What do others think? I aM happy to go with the flow.

Paddlechick666 · 08/02/2007 10:20

isn't the idea for the walk to take the kids?

i was intending to send dd to grandma's for the weekend thus allowing me free reign to stay out!

littlemisssensible · 08/02/2007 10:46

Yes I think the walk is short so that you can walk with kids, and I might have done a local walk with dd! However the walk in Richmond has been suggested as a good way of meeting up then going on for coffee/ lunch/whatever on the mofo threads so I thought it'd be a brilliant way for me to combine both

However I'm Ok with a different date if thats better for everyone else!

littlemisssensible · 08/02/2007 10:47

I guess some/many of the other mofos may well bring lo's but not being a Londoner I'll leave mine behind with dh!

edam · 08/02/2007 10:50

If it's evening can I come too? Pretty please?

uwila · 08/02/2007 10:51

Of course!

OP posts:
Paddlechick666 · 08/02/2007 10:54

i'll go with the flow.....

i had a blissful idea of coming home hungover to empy peaceful house till gparents bring dd home late afternoon

can always ask grandma to stay the night here and she'd love to join the Richmond walk.

eeek, the thought of you lot meeting my mother. must not give her Mumsnet url otherwise she will stalk me!

edam, the more the merrier i say!

littlemisssensible · 08/02/2007 11:59

Coming home to a nice, quiet, empty house sounds good too, Paddlechick!

Guess we'll have to wait and see what suits everyone else!
