Mumsnet London Booze-up anyone?

I was just wondering if anyone is interested in a follow up to to the Christmas bash. I personally had a great time. I think there was some talk about one in Birmingham a whle ago but I'm not what ever came of it.

So would anyone be interested in one in London (assuming it doesn't conflict one in Birmingham -- don't want to step on any toes of course!)

Anyone interested? Say sometime in May (but not the 19th)?

Oh, overnight of course. Need time to recover before going home to noisy children. So, night out in London (like the last one but no Christmas theme) then I spend a night, and have lazy morning, go to lunch, go shopping, etc. then go home.

Sounds perfect. May good for me except can't do 26th (as 27th is my weding anniversary). The first weekend would be best. I can do the weekend of the 12th/13th if we go out in the evening of the 12th (dd's school fair is during the day on the saturday.

Okay, so May 12 is on the table for London booze up. Will try to have a look at venues later... or anyone else who has suggestions can feel free to jump in and suggest...

No exact suggestions as yet, however I put in a vote for somewhere a little more conducive to conversation and a shorter queue at the bar .

It was fun having lots of people last time, but even if it is say 5 or 10 of us that would still be fun. Surely we can coerce 5 or 10 to show up????

new life is pretty much what you'd expect Nanou - a revolving cycle of food, sleeping, playing and crying! With a bit of jet-lag thrown in. I'm just beginning to resuface now and will be available for coffee in M&S from Friday morning onwards...

That's right, and we have only just moved a couple of weeks ago. Quickly getting settled in.
