We said January at the last one, so here we are!

Hands up if you fancy it?

To anyone not been before we normally have a meal at the Swan at Whittington one night.

I can't come (again). BIL1 is coming down from Cheshire and DH, BIL1 & BIL2 are going out so I have to be at home with the kids. Have fun all

wychbold · 24/01/2007 10:42

Bump.

I think that I might be able to come, if that's OK.

Just confirming that it is this Friday at 8pm at the Swan at Whittington, off junction 7?

Itsthawooluff · 24/01/2007 12:07

Yes, Swan at Whittington off junction 7 at 8pm. Looking forward to seeing you all

Littlefish · 24/01/2007 20:13

Hi Wychbold - looking forward to meeting you.

Beauregard · 24/01/2007 21:21

See you all on friday!
I shall be the one trying to conceal a muffin top

Littlefish · 25/01/2007 06:55

Muffin top, middle and bottom here Pelvic!

LunarSea · 25/01/2007 08:11

Well at 32 weeks pg I've got no chance of concealing anything. If it's as busy when we arrive as it was the last time I was there I'll be the one struggling to get through the crowds and realising that turning sideways actually makes the situation worse not better!

itsmeNDP · 25/01/2007 08:15

32 weeks already LunarSea ?! Wow, it only seems like a month ago max that you mentioned/announced the pg on here

LunarSea · 25/01/2007 09:38

NDP - it wasn't even that long since it was first mentioned on this thread. But it's been public knowledge elsewhere on mn for rather longer.

itsmeNDP · 25/01/2007 09:41

I tend not to read the antenatal/pregnancy stuff so no doubt that's how I missed it.

exbury · 26/01/2007 17:35

Bother - just found this - and I was mentioned by name as well! Hope you all have a good time - next time, eh!

BettySpaghetti · 26/01/2007 18:55

exbury - Its not too late if you can find a willing babysitter

(PS -its possible thast we might live quite close as I think I read somewhere that you're on the H&W borders as am I, although obviously we might live at opposite ends of the bordering parts IYSWIM)

itsmeNDP · 26/01/2007 18:58

Have fun all, DH is out with BIL. D and I are watching Winnie The Pooh in front of the fire

Furball · 27/01/2007 06:45

Morning all

Got to take ds swimming so leave at 7.30!

Thanks to everyone for such a god night, loads of laughs as usual, very enjoyable and also met a few more new faces. Not forgetting the food which was excellent. Thank you.

Morning Furball. Great to see everyone last night. Even better, dd didn't wake up until 8.00 this morning so I had a bit of a lie in!

Enjoy your swimming - we're going later (at a much more civilised hour!)

Littlefish · 27/01/2007 09:17

This is a link to the Birmigham meet up in June (not the Suzywong one).

exbury · 27/01/2007 09:29

I had a thrilling supper at the pub (no kitchen - it will be finished this week ) with grumpy DH and tired DC instead..

BettySpaghetti - we live on the Bromyard -> Great Witley road - right or wrong end of the border?

Furball · 27/01/2007 09:32

it's not me swimming - I just get to sit and watch whilst wondering why did I need to wear a vest when it's 130 degrees in there and sipping something thats supposed to be coffe from the vending machine.

Morning all.

Great night last night. Lovely to see you all again and to meet new faces.

exbury -hope you can make it next time. I'm not as near to you as I thought (Malvern) but not a massive distance away. I had visions of you living virtually along the road from me where the county boundaries change!

PS -I love Witley Court (probably the only time I've been out that way).

exbury · 27/01/2007 11:05

Very wiggly border - we cross it about 5 times between home and Malvern - but we are about 800yds from our bit of it!

Next time...

itsmeNDP · 27/01/2007 11:08

DH is scared witless of Witley Court, the fountain gives him the willies

exbury · 27/01/2007 16:53

Before or since they restored it? It is all working now and they are so proud of it.

Come to think of it - either way -

itsmeNDP · 27/01/2007 17:16

Before. He and his mates went for a teenage jolly in the dark up there before it was all locked off. Said it was a very eerie place. Everytime we go to visit my Mum (we go that way) he always puts his foot down...

itsmeNDP · 27/01/2007 17:17

The teenage jolly was about 20 years ago, btw

Furball · 27/01/2007 17:30

forgot to say - woke up this morning and thought.......

......after all that talk - nobody had Psyhillis with their puddings! and noone noticed!
