We said January at the last one, so here we are!

Hands up if you fancy it?

To anyone not been before we normally have a meal at the Swan at Whittington one night.

Furball · 03/01/2007 09:36

come on peeps!

OP posts:
LunarSea · 03/01/2007 10:42

Count me in. Can't do the week 14th-21st Jan, or 2nd Feb, otherwise can juggle commitments for most evenings after the 9th Jan.

Furball · 03/01/2007 13:18

table for two then?

OP posts:
BettySpaghetti · 03/01/2007 13:39

Make that 3!

Can't make weekend of the 21st Jan and possibly another one too but not sure which at the moment (sorry about vague-ness ).

If you decide a date I'll try my best to be there!

How have your Christmas and New Years been? I only got back on-line yesterday so have no idea whats been going on here, if anything? Nearly 2 wks without MN . Any threads I should read

sunnywong · 03/01/2007 13:40

Where's NDP these days? She's a local isn't she? Haven't seen her around for ages

Furball · 03/01/2007 13:44

Thought I hadn't seen you - where you been? Christmas great, ate far to much (whats new)

Between you two then - how does the 12th jan grab you? or is that too soon?

OP posts:
Furball · 03/01/2007 13:51

Suzy - Yes NDP has been to a meet up. I have seen her over christmas I'm sure with a name something like but not nochristmasnameNDP.

OP posts:
BettySpaghetti · 03/01/2007 13:51

Been to the ILs for a week over Xmas, had friends here for new year and just been busy really.

You now how it is, before you know it a few weeks pass in a vaguely alcoholic and gastronomic haze! Need to lay off the chocolates or I'm in trouble!

12th sounds good so far as I know.

sunnywong - not sure where NDP is but yes, she is local to us. Probably just taking a break?

Itsthawooluff · 03/01/2007 13:52

Yay! I'll come (please). I've seen NDP on a couple of threads so she is around.

Likewise, come out, come out:

Exebury
Littlefish
Honormatopia (Sp)
MM

Any any one else who lives in Borsetshire, and fancies good food and a laugh. Not to mention playing tigers

BettySpaghetti · 03/01/2007 13:55

We'll have none of that tiger malarky at the table thank-you very much! What do you get up to at home over dinner!!

Itsthawooluff · 03/01/2007 13:57

Depends on whether it's a family dinner, or dinner a deux . But I'm quite safe to take out in restaurants, no broom cupboards for me thank you.

LunarSea · 03/01/2007 14:36

12th isn't the best day for me, but probably ok if we're not eating too early. I'm London with clients that day and even if things don't overrun won't get back to Leamington until about 7.15, so 8pm at Worcester.

Betty - one of the best threads from the last couple of weeks is in Other subjects and called something like "So Friday night at our work Xmas party". There are 2 parts to it now.

sassy · 03/01/2007 14:48

Hello! Can I come again?

Am free most of Jan AFAIK at the moment. Give me a date and I'll check that dh can have the girls. I'll let Honor know too.

Furball · 03/01/2007 15:01

Would Sat 13th be better? for everyone or we could go on Friday 26th. Seems a shame if Lunarsea might not make it in time

OP posts:
LunarSea · 03/01/2007 16:50

13th is easier, and 26th is fine at the moment, but don't switch on my account if the 12th suits everyone else.

Furball · 03/01/2007 18:50

right, dh just announced he may be working the weekend of the 12th! so lets go for the 26th just in case and also lunarsea wont have to rush.

OP posts:
BettySpaghetti · 03/01/2007 19:51

Fri 26th is OK with me (I think)

rbj949703 · 04/01/2007 00:52

Can I come please??

I should be able to make this one. Saturdays are better, but as long as I have plenty of notice so that I can ask MIL to babysit Fridays should be ok. Won't know what shift dh is on until the week before.

NDP is around, will text her tomorrow, and Georginaa.

I want to know about this tiger malarky!!!!

BettySpaghetti · 04/01/2007 10:03

Bumping for anyone who might be around.

Also wanted to say Congratulations Lunarsea! I just stumbled across your news (although hardly "new" news now!)on another thread -I had no idea! Fantastic!

Itsthawooluff · 04/01/2007 13:03

Borsetshire is the fictional county of the Archers - sad old sack I know, but given the accents where I live, I'm pretty convinced Borsetshire is really Worcestershire.

And the pub in the Archers, The Bull, is supposed to be based on one in Inkberrow.

I can make 26th by the way.

NDPWillSpendLessTimeHereIn2007 · 04/01/2007 13:25

How weird. I just did a lonnnnnnnnnng post and it disappeared.

Anyway, here is a condensed version.

I'm having a bit of a break from MN atm, or at least I am trying to . I have a million deadlines and I am suffering from a bad case of writers block where any coursework is concerned. MN is a distraction I can't afford.

The 26th should be fine for me, but as usual I have to dbl check with DH's work schedule

Is LunarSea pg ? If she is, CONGRATS !

BTW, I thought it was well known about the Archers and Inkberrow ?!

Furball · 05/01/2007 08:59

Where's MM, Littlefish and Honor? has anyone seen them about? and anyone else who fancies it.................

OP posts:
LunarSea · 05/01/2007 11:40

NDP - yes!!! Although there's no hiding it now, so you'd all have worked it out on the 26th anyway.

Furball · 05/01/2007 12:20

Yes - Congratulations LunarSea! Very exciting.

OP posts:
sassy · 05/01/2007 14:13

Can make 26th. I've texted honor to let her know.
