Hi All

Following on from the pregnancy thread, here the the Meet-Up thread.

Lets hope we can meet soon. I have a 14 month DS and rely on public transport.

Hello hello,

I'm a Leeds girl too an anxious first timer due in April. Live in the delightful Armley. I'm working in Staffordshire at the mo (am i mad? well maybe) so am not here during the week, so won't be able to make week day meet ups until i go on maternity leave and am well and truly enormous and swollen.

Am sorry to be missing meet up as i really don't know any mums or mums to be in the area at all! Hopefully we can arrange another one soon.

Yorkie - thanks for the offer of a lift, that would make things much easier!

Wilderbeast - if you fancy a "pg ladies due in April!" meet up one weekend I'd be up for it. I'd also have transport then so location not a problem.

Hi - I work on Mon, Wed & Fri but if Friday best for most i can join in on the next one. I did say earlier I am on public transport but my friend has a ds who is 11 months and drives so going to join us.

i can't do thursday afternoon, dd has settling in session at nursery. but could do morning maybe, though not sure if that'll be too busy a day for her.. shall think about it.

Hi Dizzy - honestly no worries. In fairness i dont feel like OP as there was a thread on pregnancy where a lady asked for any PG's in Leeds and a few posted saying would be nice to meet, and i did it on behalf of all that thread!

This time could be the friday and then lets organise the next for a tues or thurs

if we did thursday but made it a morning i think we all could make it. my only reservation for me is dd has a settling in session at nursery in the afternoon so it might be a bit of a busy day for her, and me actually as i will be on tenterhooks! but if everyone's up for it i'll come along, maybe won't stay long, we'll see.

Right-o, just checking. Sounds like it could be a big day for your dd; YG did say that Thur p.m. was her preference, but let's see what the others have to say. After this comes the tricky venue question!

Hello! Dd is at preschool monday to thursday mornings, so afternoons and fridays are best for me.

gosh this is tricky isn't it. well is suppose we will all meet up at some point, just maybe not all at the same time! if thursday afternoon is best then i shall think of you all while i'm at home worrying about dd being over the road at nursery!

A thurday afternoon one week, then Friday morning the week after?

Ok er...basically I can come anytime as long as either I can get there on public transport without too much hassle or Yorkiegirl can give me a lift. Not sure when parents are going home (think it depends on the weather) but I should be available Thursday morning as I think they'll go on the wednesday late afternoon.

I can any Thurs PM, but cannot do any Fri AM, so that works for me.

I think it's better to have two slots.

What about saying 'right I will be at..... on at 10am, anyone who can make it see you there'
Then do the same next month, we will never get a time and place etc that fits us all.
I prefer mornings because I have both mine and tribs but in the afternoon just 1 and he often sleeps and gives me a couple of hours to catch up on other stuff, but am flexible
What do you all think?

Think you're probably right auntymandy, otherwise in November we will still be trying to craft a day that suits all!

How about varying it so that one month it's a.m. and one p.m., since a lot of people have a preference for one or t'other?

Thursday morning or any time on a Friday is best for me but if it's any other time I can work around it. Don't want to make the decision on where & when to meet though!
