Good to meet you all today. Just realised I am supposed to be looking round nurseries next Thursday morning (have booked, dh has taken a morning off work etc). Any chance of Brent X trip taking place on Friday next week or Thursday afternoon? Would love to come and clog up the bus network but otherwise, see you all next time.

Fri ok by me, but didn't we want to gatecrash the M and T that day?! We could leave that for the following week though if Fri is a good day for the others. I dont think signman can do Thurs afternoon, and it'd be a shame to leave him out after one meet!!! Lets just try and sort it out a bit sooner than the night before - I have such a hectic social calendar you know!!! Are you coming to the songtime thing on Tues? And has anyone thought of a good acronym yet??

Hello. I keep looking at this thread just after you've met up, not very efficient of me! However could I join one of your meet-ups? I have a 3yr old ds and an 11 week old dd and live in Finsbury Park, so anywhere that you seem to have met so far is good for me.

Aaah... 11 weeks... i feel an attack of broodiness coming on! We were thinking of Brent Cross next week. Is that too tricky for you with the baby? Prob Thurs or Fri.

I can't do those days, I'm afraid, but that would be great another week. Am a bit of a brent X addict in fact! Have a good one & I'll try to make the next meet up.

Hello Karen99. We cant do Mondays due to sign language, but I'm sure some of the others could make it.

Ixel, sure! But I only know a few. DS can sign seven!! I'm so impressed . He can't do them properly but you understand what he's trying to do (he's 11mo). It's sooooo cute! Is this Friday your first class? We can talk more on Thurs!

Hi everyone. Karen 99, we're meeting at 11am outside Mothercare. Or maybe I'll be inside fiddling with something ds doesn't need and I cant really afford!! My sign teacher is coming too, so you can show off your ds's skills!I think he's invited a couple of friends too. I'm getting so into it that I'm thinking about doing an adult course when ds is a bit bigger! We've been doing it about 6 weeks now, but tend to stick around for a double lesson at no extra cost. The poor thing fell asleep this week!! By the way, I met Kayleigh last week, and she said you're very nice, so it'll be great if you can make it!

Ofcourse if he has to 'do it in public' it's bound not to happen . We've been to five classes now. Know what you mean about it being addictive, I even enjoy seeing the little person in the corner of the tv screen and am chuffed when I can understand a few of the signs! (but only cause there's sound at the same time , the signs seem common sense really).

Will let you know if plans change on the morning (it's actually my bday thursday and dh might take the day off but most likely a half day)
