About time we started a new thread with a better name, as we're not meeting on a Monday!! To confirm: 11th May, Giraffe, Muswell Hill. All welcome!! LD provisionally booking a table for 5ish, by the windows...

hi ive recently moved to crouch end with my partner and 22mth old daughter. I would like to make friends with other mums but im finding that difficult . If anyone knows of any mums and toddler groups or meet ups please get in touch. ; )

I live in Crouch End & have a 8 mnth old. Try the following: Notice boards in baby shops & coffee shops, Red Gables com centre on Crouch Hill, Library, YMCA. I still have some contact with my post natal grp & will ask re toddler specific grp.

Ixel - would love to meet all but I work - are there any meets on weekends?

Sorry Davros... that's about 5 people, but its 1pm!!! Hi Gella... can you make that? Also, Im going to try out baby signing classes and Gymbabes; do you fancy coming along? One is New Southgate, one is Muswell Hill, but there are other venues too. And Capie...I'm sure we can do a weekend meet too!

I would love to join you all with my 3 year old daughter. I also have a 6 year old and we live in Crouch End too. I am from the US. I have posted on the other meet-ups and have never managed to get to one, but I can do Monday! Looking forward to meeting you all...

There's a new cafe place in Muswell Hill called Giraffe. Its on the roundabout, close to Boots. If you're coming from Crouch End by bus, you get the W7, which terminates on the roundabout, and Giraffe is more or less opposite the bus stop. God, I should work for the travel info line!! Giraffe has a yellow and black awning outside.

Oooh, just seen your message Bundle. The more the merrier! What does everyone think; should we book a table without knowing for how many, or just descend on the place and hope for the best? I think LD was going to book it, but she hasn't posted any messages for a bit, and I don't want to leave her with all the crap jobs!

Actually Tuesday works even better, as Monday morning I have a babysitter in and I would have to rush back from yoga to come. So again looking forward to meeting you all on TUESDAY!

Could probably do it as its a Tuesday. Will ask Maomao if she's interested too, seeing her later today. We're both Hampstead/BP but I know Crouch End pretty well. Will report back...

Capie - I'm often at a loose end on Sundays as dh often has to work and everyone else seems to be doing family stuff. Lets try and arrange something after the 11th.

Oh don't know, thinking it through. I'd be lucky to get there for 1pm as DD usually sleeps until about 12.30pm. Then I have to go back into Town (Bloomsbury) to collect DS from school for 4pm from Crouch End at school run time ........ maybe, I'll have to think about it.

Posey and Capie... I'm quite happy to do a Sunday. Dh works one in four as a rule, but often does overtime. as it happens, I could do this sunday coming, but that doesn't leave much time for anyone to sort themselves out...

Ixel - I work full time so weekends are the only option for me I afraid.
Posey - would love to meet, how about we check the weather on next Thursday & then decide which weekend day will be good weather & we meet up in a park somewhere. Any one else welcome of course.
I will post a reminder here next week.

hi Capie... this Sun would be best for me. Dont trust weather forecasts anyway!! The next weekends I could do after that are Sat 22nd, sat 29th, or Sun 30th. but that's starting to sound far too organised!!
