Don't worry WTP, as long as the roads are clear it will not be a problem to come and get you. I wouldn't want to stand around at a bus stops in this weather.

Hi Ronnie, I have spoken to WTP and arranged to pick her up, so that's Ok thanks.

My only potential anticipated difficulty is DH being all manly protective and insisting it's 'dangerous' to go out. I'm sure I can overcome that though

BlimeyoReilly - it wouldn't stop me either, except that there's a van stuck across our dead end road at the moment, so unless it shifts I wouldn't physically be able to get the car out past it. And it's too far to walk!

I've just rang the Pizza Express and they are OPEN, yay. They just busy as its lunch time.

Another little van has got in past the big one which is stuck - so maybe I will be able to get out after all
