I'm quite new and would like to meet other local MN's but can't make any xmas dates. Anyone local interested in a meetup in Jan? I live in Sutton.

I'm over in Lichfield which is not too far. I take it you've checked all the midlands meet up threads - 17th Nov and the xmas one. A meet up in Jan sounds good I'm sure others will be up for it.

yes I've seen the xmas meet up threads but can't make any of dates. Also got the impression that people were coming from far and wide and I really fancied meeting people a bit more local. Lichfield and Tamworth definetly class as local!

I live in Tamworth, but go to most of the Midlands meet ups, so I'll be up for one.

MH, BoR, SM & HHang - hope you ladies are coming to this meet up.

I cant do Friday 19th or 26th. I can do most M,W, occas Thurs too.

Do you wanna make it January or try for Feb as we are well into Janu.

I'm free every Friday in Feb at the moment.

Then where would we like to go, into Sutton t/c (i.e. Pizza Express) or outside Sutton, (i.e. The Parson & Clerk).

There is also TGI's, Ask, Bassetts Pole, to many a few.

Lets have some suggestions.

Is there anything else, like bowling, skating, just throwing some ideas out there.

I live in Tamworth, I shoot (archery) in lichfield, and last year did Salsa in Sutton.

So how's that for getting about the Midlands.

Ronnie - no skating I have a habit of breaking something everytime I go! am up for anything else though.

As for dates you lot name it and I'll sort something out to be there, I generally just need to get someone to look after dd if dh is on shift.

If anyone is around during the day and fancy's a cuppa let me know we like getting out and about and welcoming visitors.

BoR - I'm always up for a cuppa. I see your sister most weeks, so I'm sure she wouldnt mind if I came over to yours Maybe she can come too

I am awkward I only get tuesdays and thursdays off and have to arrange babysitter so will understand if this causes problems.

Hi I only just saw this. I am Tinkerboo's reincarnation BTW!

I'd like to meet up still. An evening probably better for me as now back at work I have 2 DS's 6yrs and 3yrs. I live in Boldmere in Sutton, but used to live and work in Tamworth, I was married in Hopwas Church!

Any night will seem to exclude some one, I can pretty much do any but Feb better for me now.

Preferably not TGI's though I always feel like I've had sensory deprivation when I come out of there, it's so dark and loud, and I sound so old
but Ask or Pizza Express, or a pub more mid way between?

So lets try for a Thursday in Feb.

So they are 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd.

Lets choose one.

Twink's if you cant make this one, maybe we can arrange one for March and make it a Friday. Can you still do Tuesdays???

I can for go the shooting for one night, (MH & BoR - I couldnt find a horrified face smiley ) (How could I give up a night of shooting (raised eyebrows))

If we can do a Tues, then the dates are

6th, 13th, 20th, 27th
(altho would prefer not to do the 6th)

So ladies, we'll go with majority, let us know what is your preference.
