hi sfx, glad you're on the mend. dd is jumpin jack flash again but i still feel sick after every meal for some reason.

should've taken some time off work sick but haven't so am feeling seriously jaded ;-(

d'you think i can leave my dd wiht yours and come with you for a good nights' sleep?

I am also feeling very guilty as flamed my mother for no real reason last night ;-( she's so good and looks after dd so well and obviously saves me heaps on childcare but......... i just want the house to myself at night and i don't want to discuss anything with her.

god I am soo nasty! hope dd is kinder to me when she's my age!

as for the expense of children, i have just spent a fortune on saving money LOL!

bought a bike, and a child seat and waterproof togs and helmets and a bike rack. all off ebay so not High St prices but even so.........

I will now be biking to Kew which is our second home. gotta luv annual membership!

ahhhhh. I just had my annoying neighbour ring me to tell me that her house was valued £20g more because her house is decorated better! I had foxtons around a couple of weeks ago and anything I do she has to do. It was a different guy, and office from foxtons and her house is horrible! We have a new kitchen and garage and she has 15yr old carpet so how her place is nicer I don't know. Anyway do I give a shit, why would you call up someone you know to say something like that? Sorry rant over

dd was signd up with a modelling agency a couple of years back nothing came off it. tbh was quite happy, thinking of having to drag her to auditions etc where you are not allowed to take younger siblings etc. just didn't cut it LOL if she wants to be a model she can do it in her own time not with me carting her around Oh i'm so mean

i was "watching" the child model thread on MN but it's even busier than our threads!

they all seem pretty serious about it tbh so i don't know if it'll be for us.

urban angels are supposed to be one of the best but they closed their book on Monday adn they only do 2 views per year.

your ds would deff be an excellent model i think foxie, as would your dd actually!

most places seem keen on personality as well as looks. i think that's what will get dd going as tbh i think she's pretty "standard" baby blonde, blue eye n chubby! but she a cheeky missy!

PC: we did gymboree for years ; it is FANASTIC value IF you go to all the 'freeplay' sessions. Usually 3/4 a week. We went to them all . works out an absolute deal. Get the list and make sure you turn up to them all. They also let you sample different classes: music. art etc. Just avoid the fab toy shop on the way out an you'll be fine.

Had good day: went to gym, and have lost 5 pounds in the last month am smug as I have been hitting the bottle big time this week - wine every night, and had curry last night. Winter nights are just made for big glass of (cheap) red wine in fronmt of west wing dvds. Beats thinking anyway . My arse still the size of mount rushmore though. or two put together. Ho Hum. Where's the wine.......
