I saw your post on the Durham/Darlington thread. It's a bit far for me to get to Durham as well, though I do drive. Do you fancy arranging a meet up in Northallerton some time soon? If so, I'll start a thread to see if there are any others in the area. I have a baby son who's 14 weeks old and I don't know any other mums in the area as yet.

of course not I do know of someone who made some silly comments on a chatroom once and was identified, comments got back to headteacher and she was disciplined for it hence my caution!

MammyM · 19/11/2006 14:43

That's a bit extreme but still it happens.....

SparklyfestiveYellowFeathers · 19/11/2006 15:37

So is it just Twinklemegan, HM and myself on Tuesday?
I'm going to CAT you both just to cover myself with descriptions etc.

StrawberryMoon · 19/11/2006 19:14

MammyM · 19/11/2006 20:20

Strawberry moon, don't mean to be pedantic but if you read back a bit where you say I'm in Longlands she then says SM that's where I am. Or is it just me?!

SparklyfestiveYellowFeathers · 20/11/2006 07:09

When you say the "boro" what areas does that cover?
I thought m'bro was quite a way from here.

MammyM · 20/11/2006 15:38

Yes, Boro is just Middlesbrough it's about 20mins down the A19. Sorry, I think I've misread something somewhere......

StrawberryMoon · 20/11/2006 16:51

bettythebuilder · 20/11/2006 21:03

Hello! Crashing in loudly after a short break to Centre Parcs.

Harrogatemum has emailed me about us coming to meetup with you both tomorrow. However, she did say she'd be in touch today to finalise things, so maybe I'd better check that she's not giving birth...

...if she's not, we're easy to recognise. Hm is tall and 40 weeks pg, and I'm neither. (I will have dd with me tho')

MammyM · 20/11/2006 22:20

Thanks SM, this Wed is busy though, we tend to go to the Rainbow centre for same sess on a Mon, didn't know Clairville did one, and on a Wed (when EVERYTHING else is closed).

StrawberryMoon · 21/11/2006 08:24

i know, its not been going long and is so lovely and clean, all the soft play is new and sparkly

im having a 'grand opening' party there in december as ive just become reg as childminder (although it sems to be all off dd's school friends that are going!..dd had her party at rainbow last year, in diff room from where they put it through week..was good!..she also does dancing there on a sunday!

SparklyfestiveYellowFeathers · 21/11/2006 10:21

BTB, I've called TM to say I'm not coming today. Ds is bad with his reflux today so last thing I want to do is take him out to projectile vomit over everyone!
I have her number and I passed my mobile number on to HM so if you have a problem too today just give me a call and I can let Twinklemegan know.

I have emailed HM too and I did say I would be happy for you to come to my house for drinks but I understand its a bit weird when you've never met someone before lol.

Sorry its so last minute but I hope you have a nice afternoon and hopefully we'll meet up soon.

bettythebuilder · 21/11/2006 10:27

Sorry ds is poorly,sfyf.
Don't worry about being last minute - everything I do is last minute!
I emailed hm last night, no reply yet, so maybe she is having her baby!! I 'll go and investigate...

twinklemegan · 21/11/2006 12:14

BTB - are you still coming today? Have you heard back from HM yet? Don't want to end up standing out there on my own like a lemon!!

OP posts:
bettythebuilder · 21/11/2006 12:17

Yes, we're still coming!
