OK, Brula booked for FRIDAY 1st December!
For own private room! 2 things, we must arrive between 7-8 pm (no rpoblem, surely!) and if there are 10 or more of us they can go off a la carte for different menu (if we want).

So - who's in?

(Not stepping on yr toes, oh cheekboned one, this is as organised as I get!)

Oxo - is that the Christmas one?

We're also doing a bookswap on 2 Dec at mine, 11am.

I wish I could get other people back on this thread - will go and coerce them a bit....(trots off)

sfxmum · 21/11/2006 09:07

sorry for neglect, am ok for 1&8 also don't mind where we go happy with any sort of food really

pudding77 · 21/11/2006 09:12

What about Pizza Express in Richmond?

Paddlechick666 · 21/11/2006 12:19

i know it's a rubbish night but if we re-arranged to a tues or weds then i could prob come as mother here to babysit............

i love pizza express, the doughballs are yummy!

Uwilalalalalala · 21/11/2006 13:03

I can do 02, 07, 08 Dec.

I can not do 05, 17, or 19 Dec.

Richmond is good for me. And happy to keep the cost down. Although, Brula is very nice so I am sorry to not be going there.

Maybe we should organise a Brula night for say Feb when we have recovered from Christmas expenses?

MrsBojangles · 21/11/2006 13:09

should be ok for most Fridays

And I also LOVE those doughballs!

Uwilalalalalala · 21/11/2006 13:36

I think Fridays will be difficult to get in December. Should we go with Paddlechicks idea of say a Tuesday or Wednesday?

Is there anyone who can not make Tues or Wed?

MrsBojangles · 21/11/2006 13:38

Wednesdays are better for me

Uwilalalalalala · 21/11/2006 13:40

How about 6 or 13 Dec?

MrsBojangles · 21/11/2006 13:53

6th December is Nikolaus! so time with dd and ds
13th would be better for me

pudding77 · 21/11/2006 16:14

6th is day after we move so 13th would be better for me.

Paddlechick666 · 21/11/2006 16:46

13th should be okay for me, will check with ma tonight...........

hoxohoxohoxo · 21/11/2006 16:46

MrsB - can you CAT me pls. I've heard of a possible job that may suit you, albeit for a job that does not quite exist yet. Tenuous enough for you?
Probably won't work but - in the style of all bad movies - it's a long shot but it might just work

deckthehalls · 21/11/2006 19:27

13th ok for me ...

MrsBojangles · 21/11/2006 20:02

oxo emailed you I like tenuouse... that's what my life seems to be like atm anyhow... or is that because I'm overdosing on my friends Ibu and Para?

harktheheraldfoxessing · 21/11/2006 20:05

Hi everyone

I can do 6 or 13, but 13 is miles better

Paddlechick666 · 21/11/2006 20:57

okay, mother can do 13th so I can too!

there has to be a plus to this business of her staying 2 nights per week each week!

Uwila, can you come?

Uwilalalalalala · 22/11/2006 08:34

13 is fine for me.

Now, where shall we go?

Paddlechick666 · 22/11/2006 10:05

I've always fancied trying this place

but happy with Pizza Express or Strada (bit more expensive) or Gourmet Burger Kitchen or we could go Thai again and hop over the Bridge to my fave Fat Boys!

oh god, i'll admit it, i don't care as long as i get to go and it won't cost a bomb!!

MrsBojangles · 22/11/2006 10:39

didn't we have a meet at Pizza Rustica before? I vaguely seem to remember brown gin

Uwilalalalalala · 22/11/2006 11:50

Yep, brown gin and YELLOW lemons.

Hey, anyone heard from Nanou since the weekend?

Paddlechick666 · 22/11/2006 14:28

aren't lemons supposed to be yellow or am i being a bit dim?

brown gin?

Uwilalalalalala · 22/11/2006 14:34

Naanou ordered a gin and tonic with a lime. The waitress said yello, we ssaid no green, she said YELLOW, we said okay. Whe it arrived it was brown like wiskey and it had a YELLOW lemon.

Inside jokes. suppose you had to be there.

Paddlechick666 · 22/11/2006 15:19

yum!

so, other choice of venue then?

pudding77 · 22/11/2006 16:24

There's a chinese restaurant in Northfields which is ok. I'll have to double-check but if I remember rightly its £15 or £20 for an all you can eat menu
