I do hope that there is someone out there from NI (Co Down specifically) that could meet up. Our Mums and Tots are great, but I would like to organise something a bit different!!!

You'll do fine fff2 I'm sure of it

Had to go last night - dh needed computer. Gonna take it easy today - finish the ironing and do some painting I've been putting off with dd2 - shes 3 and the paint tends to go everywhere but the paper...
If it wasn't so windy we could get out for a walk

pandi52 · 20/05/2007 09:25

Flip, its been ages since I've been on here! I'm glad to hear the Mile for Maude went well. Sorry i couldn't make it in the end. Had to work. It would have been good to meet you guys. Does anyone know of toddler groups that run over the summer? DS loves them and I love getting a cuppa in peace!!!

Tamdin · 28/05/2007 10:39

hi star fairy. haven't been on NI thread for ages. How's things? we're off to portugal in morning. need to be at aldergrve for 4am so trying to get everything done atm.

starfairy · 28/05/2007 10:41

Hi Tamdin, am good thanks. Portugal, fab how long you going for? Am rather

Tamdin · 28/05/2007 10:45

only going for 4 nights. it's a friend's wedding and we're bringing ds (16months) so don't be too
no only kidding, looking forward to some proper sun and ds never been on a beach holiday so can't wait to see his face

starfairy · 28/05/2007 10:49

Your ds will have a ball wee pet. Hope you enjoy the wedding. Is it a big wedding?

fireflyfairy2 · 28/05/2007 10:59

Hi girls

Glad someone has posted, I couldn't find this bloomin' thread!!

I'm just out of the town & have put ds down for a nap... he wasn't being very co-operative I must say, kept saying No Mammy, I not sleepy! Oh well, needs must, if he doesn't have a sleep he will be like a wee bear later on!

I have to go to a conformation tomorrow night so went to town to buy a top! Got it in River Island, £29.99 but then I looked in the pocket of my bag as I thought I had a £5 gift voucher & realised I had £20 in gift vouchers! So got the top for £9.99 in the end

Have just hung a load of washing out & am watching for rain!

Tamdin · 28/05/2007 11:00

not sure on the numbers. they are friends from leeds so we'll only know about 2 other couples going. Don't imagine it'll be too big if it's in portugal as it's turned out to be quite expensive so some people may not have been able to afford to go. we're treating it as our holiday this year as we're renovating our house atm too. hopefully we'll get a good summer here.

starfairy · 28/05/2007 11:02

Good find fff2, am in process of doing the laundry myself, & dodging the ironing yet again.

Have to go to work tonight

Tamdin · 28/05/2007 11:02

hi fff2. x posted. off into town soon too. have realised i have absolutely no flip flops or cut off trousers/jeans for hols so have checke dout top shop's website and they have lots of nice things so am going to go see what i can get. x

fireflyfairy2 · 28/05/2007 11:14

If you have a peacocks you can get some flip flops for a few pence! I think mine were £1.50 & they are fab! Just for the beach & that mind you.

starry, I haven't ironed in yonks.. My ironing basket is mating with the ceiling in the hotpress

starfairy · 28/05/2007 11:24

How's it going at sw fff2? Had exam last wed so was not at ww, the same this week, so will have to wait and see.

Tamdin, enjoy your spending spree today & hope you have great time away.

fireflyfairy2 · 28/05/2007 11:26

I had gained weight last week!

But will hopefully have it off this week.
