I do hope that there is someone out there from NI (Co Down specifically) that could meet up. Our Mums and Tots are great, but I would like to organise something a bit different!!!

Very little

Have just deposited my niece home at 8.30. Have had her since 2pm but I would grow a beard if I were waiting on my sis picking her up! lol She is so easy going, she wouldn't notice if I had put S to bed here & not taken her home! So I had a coffee & a natter then came home & had a shower. Just printing out notes here for Uni tomorrow & that's me

starfairy · 12/02/2007 21:55

Day off for me the day & done nothing really, went to the gym in the morning & that's bout it.

Dd is with D the night, the house feels empty without her.

fireflyfairy2 · 12/02/2007 21:59

I had that last night when dd stayed with my sister.. I missed her so much. But it'll give you a wee break. Will he take her to nursery tomorrow for you?

starfairy · 12/02/2007 22:04

Yeah, he will.

So no excuses for me then, it's of to the gym again the morrow.

fireflyfairy2 · 12/02/2007 22:21

I wish I had the motivation! I have none at the minute Once I come home from Uni I land in a heap on the sofa...or some to check emails & end up on here

starfairy · 12/02/2007 22:42

How's your course going?

fireflyfairy2 · 12/02/2007 22:53

Yeah, great Loving it Really starting to feel settled in the journalism part..a bit rocky on the psychology front though

fireflyfairy2 · 17/02/2007 16:03

Hiya

No-one has been about for a day or two!!

Just a quick bump

laloop · 17/02/2007 16:15

Hi fireflyfairy2, how are you? I've just logged in for ten minutes or so before I go start the lo's dinner. What are you up to today? Lovely day here in NI yoday isn't it

cremolafoam · 17/02/2007 16:17

hi guys,
just got back from town

laloop · 17/02/2007 16:22

Hi cremolafoam Did you buy anything nice in town? I've just been out for a run on the towpath at Shaw's Bridge so feeling very smug with myself. Will probably ruin it tonight though by opening a bottle of wine.

fireflyfairy2 · 17/02/2007 16:25

We went to town this morn to get dd some new school shoes. Would you believe that the 2 shops in town that do clarkes shoes don't have any in stock???? They both said they won't be getting any more in until July/August, in time for the new school year!! She has really broad feet & no other shoes are comfy on her.

Then when we came home I made some soup whilst ds went for a nap, dd fell asleep too!! lol Dh tidied outside so now I am enjoying a coffee & a surf

laloop · 17/02/2007 16:30

FFF2, that's no good, I can't stand our local Clarkes shop, the service is awful and they never have anything in the sizes we need . I boycott it now and take the dc's to one of the independent startrite stockists instead.

cremolafoam · 17/02/2007 16:31

i bet it was lovely at Shaws bridge today- did'nt even need a coat in town.It was so busy tho'.
Didn't get anything much to be honest. Also looking for shoes for dd in Clarkes- but she is a size 5 now and they had nothing at all in a trainer. S'pose i'll have to get grownup trainers now at humumgous cost....

Dh also outside moving things about.
we are off to my sister's for our tea so yay don;t have to cook tonight.

cremolafoam · 17/02/2007 16:33

agree about clarkes- the only nice one is the one at Connswater- they are lovely in there, but i hate the one in town and the one at Forestside(homicide as we call it)

fireflyfairy2 · 17/02/2007 16:34

We came out of the 2nd shop & I said to dh "Did you notice how hard I tried to cover my sarcasm?" he said "huh.. were you trying not to sound cross?"

It just really annoys me. I said on the way out "What?? Why do these people think kids school shoes are going to last a whole school year????" I don't give a fig who heard me either... it's ridiculous!

Are any of you heading out tonight?

laloop · 17/02/2007 16:34

Did you see TakeThat on the Brits the other night, FFF2? Thought they were brill.

I'd love to not have to cook tonight, cremola, lucky you!

cremolafoam · 17/02/2007 16:36

overdid the vin rouge last night.Have nephew staying( 22)for 1/2 term and am worn out already. Dinner book bed for me!

laloop · 17/02/2007 16:37

Lol at 'homicide'- we used to call it 'DeForestside' because they cleared so many trees when they built it. (I miss Supermac, used to love it)

fireflyfairy2 · 17/02/2007 16:37

Yes!!!! Gary Barlow gets sexier with age!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think I'm cooking tonight... maybe dh will

I am doing slimming world so chinese take aways aren't too bad on those, although I bought gammon steaks & a fresh pineapple so that might be nice with wedges for tea

fireflyfairy2 · 17/02/2007 16:39

Cremolafoam do you live in East B'fast? My sister lives there But they're looking to move at the minute [well, BIL is, sis doesn't want to go!]

laloop · 17/02/2007 16:40

I thought Howard looked really well, as did Jason. Have to agree Gary is ageing very well, but wee Mark looks like he should still be doing a paperround.

cremolafoam · 17/02/2007 16:42

we are out in the country- but dd goes to school in east b.
LOL at deforestside!! Ah Supermac- dh still calls forestside that out of spite!

fireflyfairy2 · 17/02/2007 16:42

Yeah, & he looked absolutely knackered in yesterdays paper!

I thought it was lovely that Jason said he loved his dad, I remember there was a huge hoohaa the first time around about him cutting his dad from his life.

cremolafoam · 17/02/2007 16:43

gotta go now- byee talk soon
