Just wanted to mention that I've been to the bar in question a little while ago. I would've thought it a perfect venue for this kind of meeting - lots of space, music not too intrusive, nice relaxing vibe.

You see there are 'SOME' who think over 35 means that they cannot talk if there is music Actually some who are under 35 too!!

So please confirm, before I do a recee trip that the music is good, but NOT TOO LOUD for those who cannot cope and are thinking of backing out!!

It was a Friday night, we had a works drink there. I should add that almost everyone I work with is well over 35!!

If I remember, the music was definitely there as a presence, i.e. not 'background' music, but it wasn't deafening. You could sit in the booths of seats and chat without too much bother.
