Right venue booked in Mumsnet name, there is an option IF people wante dto oragnise canape type food at £10 a head BUT this needs to be done in advance and paid in advance. A BIG HASSLE

However if the main consenuus is to organise food I will do so. This doesn't need to be done until nearer the time, but do think about it. We have approx 1/2 the bar!!

Oh, God, no, don't bother with organising food in advance. Too much hassle and I always end up seeing it when there's just one plate left with one prawn head and a piece of anchovy toast that nobody wants

nibbley things I would have thought! Small bites of stuff. Chipolatas in honey, mini sun dried tomato tartlets that sort of stuff.

I don't mean to sound rude, but if there's a bar menu, I'm sure we can organise food for ourselves - otherwise it's all "oh, but I wanted stilton wedges with apricot and sausage lark vomit on them and all the vegetarians want cucumber and cream cheese smiley faces" arguments

If im hungry I will just order chips from the bar... I dont do canapee thingyies
