Mhamai, are you flying in from Dublin? If so go to Gatwick(Ryanair fly there) and you can get a fast train to Victoria. It's very easy to get to the location from there.
And look out for me and LGJ as we are both Irish!

WWW it is a bar with a DJ, no 'quiet room' sorry. When this was first suggested we wanted a place where we could

meet
drink
dance

with no venue hire/deposit/food ordering etc etc. and no minimum spend.

Hence I suggested this bar. In total it takes 200 people, looks like we will be 80 of them (I have reserved area 4 in the bar - look on private parties link). DJ doesn't start until 9pm ish, meeting is from 8pm, so you have an hour to chit chat.

You will jusy have to 'project' your voice

Sherlock, should we organise a splinter group meet up for people who want to go somewhere to eat and talk or would that be considered cliquey do you think? (don't want to piss anyone off but I just can't face a clubby type place, I was the same at 18 too, have pretty much always hated clubs and loud places so I think I've always been middle aged wrt this)

It could be a different day maybe? Or is it a bad idea? There are so many people I'd love to see/meet for the first time and I missed it last year as I was working away and couldn't spare a Sat night away from my children since I didn't see them at all in the week.

But I do realise that you can't please all of the people all of the time etc etc. Maybe another time then...
