Hi my name is Sarah i'm 25 and i'm a SAHM to Sophie who is 1. I live in a 3 bed house with my Fiancee Dave. We live in Vigo which is about 10 miles away from Gravesend and Maidstone.

Wondered if there were any mums close to where I live?

Hope so

10 o'clock sounds good. See you all outside JL restaurant.

TamFeFe · 29/11/2006 20:44

Unfortunately can't make this Friday but would love to come to the next one!! Mimifrench - hopefully meet soon!

BluewaterMum · 01/12/2006 19:35

Hi all! I posted a message a while ago but didn't seem to get a particular reply from anyone so kind of gave up on the site.
Still keen to meet up with Mums from the area, would you mind if I join you next time you meet at Bluewater (where I happen to be a regular if you haven't guessed from nick . I am a SAHM and have a 2 year old boy named James who can be an angel or a monkey depending on how PM I am! Look forward to someone replying!

Noidea · 02/12/2006 14:00

Hi BWMum
Of course you'd be welcome to join us next time! If you fancy a coffee before that I'm around Wednesday 13th? I'm the wrong side of 40 and have a dd of 2 and a half who would be with me and probably wouldn't be terribly well behaved (she seemed to be trying various ways of making the loudest possible noise when we met up yesterday....)! Let me know if you're free.

BluewaterMum · 02/12/2006 15:38

Hi Noidea! I had already planned to be in Bluewater on the 13th Wed so it will be great to meet up and have coffee! I'm 39 and am at present pondering do I want a second one, can I afford to leave it any longer etc. DS is two and like I said in my previous post could be the sweetest little boy but never when I'm talking to people on the phone or meeting someone for a coffee (like they seem to do). Hopefully your daughter and him will keep each other company! HOPEFULLY! I can be there about 1.30pm (usually go to gym in the morning) but if you can't do the afternoon might skip gym. Let me know what time's convenient for you. Look forward to meeting you!

Noidea · 02/12/2006 16:16

1.30 is fine. Might struggle to find somewhere for coffee at that time 12 days before Christmas but perhaps we could get the 2 little angels to intimidate a couple of old ladies and steal their seats!
Where do you want to meet?

BluewaterMum · 02/12/2006 17:49

Anywhere they do nice coffee! I saw that you tend to meet at the JL restaurant or if you want we can meet at the Starbucks by The White Company? I have grown alarmingly obsessed with their gingerbread late and mince pies recently!Your choice!

Noidea · 02/12/2006 22:23

Outside Starbucks is good. Will have to watch and drool as you consume mince pies, however, as on standard pre-Christmas diet (kids herself she'll still be on it by next Wednesday.....)! Look for slightly overweight brunette with dancing child and evil stripey pink pushchair; not to mention look of severe depression as will have turned 44 the day before! Please bring Gin and Zimmer Frame....

BluewaterMum · 02/12/2006 23:50

Hey, you're a Sagitarius - hence the great sense of humour! I'm 39 on the 10th (next Sun), so Happy Birthday to US! I'll be the one with the screaming child (his head hanging out of the pushchair usually) or if I have been brave enough to let him out of it - I'll be the one running after a cute 2 year old boy with a very cheeky grin on his face! Am a brunette as well and will for sure be wearing jeans! Look forward to meeting you two girls, off to bed for some well deserved rest - did the Christmas decoration today (and some presents wrapping to finish off the day).

BluewaterMum · 02/12/2006 23:55

P.S. I'd never be so evil as to eat mince pies in the present of someone dieting! I put 4 stones during pregnancy, got it all off but know what it's like. As to gin..if they (Dkids) misbehave enough, next time we'll stick them in creche and go for lunch with wine, gin, etc. depression fighting substances! Speak soon!

Noidea · 03/12/2006 16:15

Another Sagittarius - should be easy to spot each other by the hooves then! See you then!

BluewaterMum · 03/12/2006 18:49

And the tails! See you and your girl on Wed, 13th! That Starbucks I'm talking about is a couple of shops down from The White Company on the same side, not next to it by the way! Have a nice week and BIRTHDAY and don't forget middle age officially starts at 60 these days! X

melminx · 06/12/2006 13:23

hi all good to meet new faces the other day and nice to see you again ann. hope you all have a great christmas and look forward to seeing you again in the new year mel xx

Noidea · 11/12/2006 08:39

Hi BWmum, Hope you had a good birthday! Still on for Wednesday?
Anyone else around that day? (Hooves & tails preferable but not essential!)

BluewaterMum · 11/12/2006 21:31

Hi Noidea! Great b'day, still on for Wed, though went there last Fri and it was MAD! Even I got put off by it..LOL...but will leave nice and early and hopefully there won't be too much traffic at least getting there. See you Wed, 13th, 1.30pm outside Starbucks across from Habitat.

BluewaterMum · 11/12/2006 21:33

Sorry, Noidea, forgot to ask you how was your birthday?

Noidea · 11/12/2006 22:06

It's tomorrow! (But thanks for asking!)

BluewaterMum · 11/12/2006 22:45

Of course, you did say! Have a lovely day, don't go anywhere gin or zimmer frames!

BluewaterMum · 13/12/2006 08:47

Hi Noidea! I really, really hope you read that, James (DS) has had fever all night and has fever this morning, so no Bluewater for us! I just hope you'll read this and not waste your time going all the way there, especially at this time of the year! Really sorry about that but his fever is rather bad, Nurofen wouldn't bring his temperature down, so I'll have to take him to the doctors today. I'll post you again later.

BluewaterMum · 13/12/2006 09:21

Hi Noidea! Half an hour later after Nurofen - fever's down and am thinking I might not need to take him to the surgery. Two of his molars have cut through and they look HUGE, my gut feeling is telling me they might be the cause rather than anything else. I think there is a chance we still go to Bluewater (I have some things to get done) so if you read this let me know if you still want to meet or if you prefer to be safe and not expose your girl to James, I can't be sure it's teeth, might be a virus. I'll keep an eye in the thread till 11.30am. Sorry about all this, that's KIDS for you!

Noidea · 13/12/2006 11:16

Hi,
Let's go for it then as you have to go anyway and so do I. Perhaps we could have a quick coffee and keep them apart just in case! I'll check here again about 12.30 just in case you change your mind.

BluewaterMum · 13/12/2006 11:28

Hey, so glad you read my post! We are defenitely going but like I said - I would absolutely understand if you'd rather do it another time, don't want your little girl getting it if it's a virus! He doesn't have a cough or runny nose that's why I am thinking it's the teeth, no other sighns of illness and he seems to be perfectly fine in himself. We'll be leaving about 12.30 ourselves and I'll check the thread one more time before we do and please, if you have the slightest concern about your girl meeting James today, let's postpone, otherwise, would love to have a coffee!

Noidea · 13/12/2006 11:32

Don't worry. Will see you at 1.30 Wearing jeans, grey top and brown jacket.

BluewaterMum · 13/12/2006 11:39

I'm wearing jeans, red top and blue Converse trainers (and so is James!) See you 1.30! XX

Noidea · 13/12/2006 11:45

Will be arrested if discovered on hands and knees studying feet! Will look for jeans and top!
