Hi my name is Sarah i'm 25 and i'm a SAHM to Sophie who is 1. I live in a 3 bed house with my Fiancee Dave. We live in Vigo which is about 10 miles away from Gravesend and Maidstone.

Wondered if there were any mums close to where I live?

Hope so

Love Sarah & Sophie x

How about 6th or 13th October then? Or does your lo need longer to get over the rubella, Steph?

Noidea · 26/09/2006 16:06

Sorry, just realised I can't do the 6th. How about the 13th?

swedishmum · 27/09/2006 22:21

At Bluewater? Sounds good to me.

mimifrench · 28/09/2006 11:08

13th it's good for me but is it possible to do it the afternoon my son sleep most of the morning... amelie

Noidea · 03/10/2006 15:56

13th it is then. Can you make early afternoon? Say about 1 o'clock as my dd naps about 3 normally?

stevie74 · 04/10/2006 13:23

I shall add the date to my diary. Girls are both better now thanks noidea. John Lewis cafe again or some where else?

Noidea · 04/10/2006 15:24

Don't mind where. Any suggestions??

ChrisitinaJayne · 04/10/2006 16:12

Hi,

Im new to this site today but I am a WAHM in Kent with 2 little boys ages 2 and 4, I lived in Ashford but just bought a house in Margate and feel a little isolated here so would love to make some new Kent friends.

Hi I'm Tammy, 34 but feel about 100!!! I'm a SAHM to Felix who's 3 months old. We live near Tenterden and would love to come along to the Bluewater meet - is it definitely 1 o'clock?

Looking forward to it!

Noidea · 05/10/2006 15:45

Let's call it 1 o'clock for definite then. If no one minds can we make it John Lewis again and then I can give my dd lunch there and, hopefully, get a bit of time for a natter! Meet outside the restaurant/lifts.

swedishmum · 05/10/2006 22:22

I'll be there (barring family funerals and flu) and looking forward to meeting you. Very nervous though -don't get out much these days!

Micku5 · 06/10/2006 17:56

Hiya,

Won't be able to make it as dd1 has her ballet lessons at that time... but enjoy yourselves.

Micku

amelie

swedishmum · 08/10/2006 21:37

First meet up ever for me so I'm quite nervous, silly as it sounds! I'm really looking forward to meeting new people.

Noidea · 09/10/2006 15:11

Hi Swedishmum, I think probably none of us have met before so we'll all be feeling the same as you. Can't speak for the others but I promise I don't bite! Look forward to meeting you on Friday!

JoPG · 09/10/2006 18:27

Unfortunately I will be unable to make it on Friday. It is DS1's Harvest Festival Celebration on Friday afternoon, and I would like to go along and watch. Sorry, but see you all another time.
MimiFrench - remember that there is always the playgroup on a tues afternoon (1pm - 3pm) at All Saints Church Hall if you want to meet some other people.
Also, don't know if you have heard of it, but Tiddlywinks SoftPlay are at All Saints on a Friday between 10am and 11am. It is a safe place for little ones to play, and you can meet some other mums. The cost is £3.00. I don't go along to that cos DD has a music class that day, but I do know it is good fun.

TamFeFe · 10/10/2006 20:10

Really hope to be able to make it on Friday but have been ill this week with mastitis! (Yuk!) MimiFrench would you be interested in meeting up? My husband is French and we're hoping that Felix is going to be bilingual! I'm in Ashford at least twice a week if you're interested - there's also a French parents' group that meets near Ashford every other Monday? Tammy

Noidea · 12/10/2006 16:33

Hi All,
Not 100% sure I'm going to make it tomorrow - car needs some work doing urgently and they 'think' they should be able to give me a courtesy car but won't know till the morning. Who is definitely coming?

Noidea · 13/10/2006 09:15

Got a car so will be there at 1. Anyone else?

swedishmum · 13/10/2006 09:43

I'll be there. I'll be the exhausted looking one with the toddler who stayed awake all night! Looking forward to meeting you.

Noidea · 15/10/2006 19:30

Hi Swedishmum, nice to meet you and your incredibly well behaved daughter on Friday - only wish mine had been the same!
Look forward to meeting up again sometime and perhaps we can make it a morning next time so you don't have to rush off!

swedishmum · 15/10/2006 21:59

Hi Noidea,
Your daughter is gorgeous! Would enjoy meeting up again one morning - dd is at pre-school Mon and Wed so the other days are better. Living in the sticks I don't need too much persuading to go shopping so give me a shout and I'd love meeting up for a coffee.

stevie74 · 16/10/2006 12:48

Hi all. Didn't manage to make the meet... again! Think my daughters are united in keeping me theirs alone! Is anyone meeting again, anytime? I live in Gravesend but do drive so getting there's not a problem

martinemorris · 17/10/2006 11:57
