Hi my name is Sarah i'm 25 and i'm a SAHM to Sophie who is 1. I live in a 3 bed house with my Fiancee Dave. We live in Vigo which is about 10 miles away from Gravesend and Maidstone.

Wondered if there were any mums close to where I live?

Hope so

Love Sarah & Sophie x

Hi All,

22nd is good for us.

Look forward to seeing you all.

JodieBugandRowan · 02/09/2006 17:36

silly question, but where abouts in Bluewater do we meet, and what time?

Dingle · 02/09/2006 18:07

There are a few from Kent hiding in the woodwork!!

I am from Lordswood, near Chatham/Maidstone. I am 40,SAHM to a DS(7) and A DD(4.5). My DD has Down Syndrome and about to start school.

Not really been able to do many meets before because of juggling hospital appointments/nursery and school commitments but hopefully by the end of September.....things could be different.

Noidea · 03/09/2006 16:27

Well it looks like there could be an awful lot of us! We've usually headed to the restaurant at John Lewis before and if we get there early enough we could colonise the bit at the far end without upsetting too many people! So how about meeting outside the restaurant at 10 am?

Dingle · 03/09/2006 16:39

I can't make 22nd, but have fun and I will watch carefully for the next meet-up.

JodieBugandRowan · 03/09/2006 19:43

Noidea- that sounds like a good idea. Jx

22nd is my DS's first full day at school so I might join you - wow - freedom!! Is this meet up definitely going ahead?

Noidea · 12/09/2006 09:13

Hi KBear, I'll definately be there so hope to see you then

JodieBugandRowan · 12/09/2006 16:11

I'll definitely be there too. Jx

JoPG · 12/09/2006 20:19

mimiFrenach - look forward to seeing you there. By the way - SAHM stands for Stay at Home Mum.
Not sure if you would be interested but there is a nice play group in Hartley on a Tues afternoon at All Saints Church Hall (Ash Road). It runs from 1pm until 3pm. It might help you to meet some more people, also it is not too busy so you would be ok in following conversations and stuff cos it is not too noisy.

Bananaknickers · 16/09/2006 00:20

Can I come.Is there anyone not taking their children. I have two at full time school and maybe will take my 4 year old out of pre school for the morning so I don't have to rush back.I am in Gravesend

Noidea · 16/09/2006 11:48

Hi Bananaknickers (great name but begs the question 'why'....)
You're very welcome to join us and I think Kbear won't be bringing children (is that right Kbear?) but come with or without!
Who else is definitely coming?

Beansmum06 · 17/09/2006 08:15

Hi there, I would definitely like to come along and meet some local mum's if that is ok. Am based in Dartford so not far from Bluewater. My son is 3 months. Lx

JoPG · 21/09/2006 22:23

DS - Dear son
DD - Dear Daughter
DH- Dear Husband

Whole host of other acronyms used on this site, some of which I have to have a think about. Check out the acronym list (there's a link for it at the top of the page) and you will look like a professional in no time.
HTH

(Hope that helps!)

JoPG · 21/09/2006 22:24
