Been here 7yrs now have 2 ds's 2yrs and 6months and am married to a pom so looks like I'm here for the long run! The closest I get to an aussie now is watching neighbours (I know its quite pathetic). Anyway if there are any others who fancy a catch up, I'm in west london?

11.00 is good for me too.

How old will baby be?

Kaybee7777 · 19/10/2006 12:19

Well he's due on Nov 19th, so by the time we plan to fly he will be 6 or 7 months...

quokka · 19/10/2006 12:23

I'm fine with 11am but the kids will have to eat quite soon after. We can meet at the Victoria gate, still have loads of passes so don't pay!

Cori, medised is great!

Is that the gate I usually go to??? Thanks for the free passes quokka

cori · 19/10/2006 13:53

is that the gate near the station or the car park?

quokka · 19/10/2006 15:34

The one closest to the station. I think it's called Kew rd

You're right quokka, just checked the leaflet I got last time I was there, and Victoria Gate is on Kew Road, and is closest to the station

Have just cleaned whole flat and am tired now so off to have a rest!

quokka · 20/10/2006 12:07

Cori if your driving them you can park for free on Kew Rd after 10am. You need to park on the garden side of the road iykwim?

Trying to shake this sore throat and head off for the past couple of days!

quokka · 24/10/2006 09:11

Right back from the living dead! Are we still up for Thurs?

Veggiemummy and anyone else do you want to come along?

Hows that bump going Kaybee?

So much to do, going away on Fri to sunny Wales . Looking forward to chilling out with all my boys.

Kaybee7777 · 24/10/2006 09:16

Glad to hear you are feeling better

Should be ok for Thurs. Bump is still fine, no signs of him arriving just yet but who knows

Just off to the hospital for a blood test, yuk

cori · 24/10/2006 20:28

Yep , I am still up for Thursday. See you at 11.00

Kaybee7777 · 25/10/2006 16:47

See you guys tomorrow at 11

kiwibella · 25/10/2006 17:39

oh girls... I have just seen this!! We've been away in Scotland for a few days with Kohanga (NZ Maori children's group). It was a blast but I have been absolutely shattered since we got back.

I would love to meet you all at Kew tomorrow but I have a midwife appt in the morning. I'm really up for a day chilling at home with my dd too. I hope that you all stay dry and have lots of fun.

quokka · 26/10/2006 08:26

never mind kiwibella I'm sure there will be another one soon.

OP posts:
cori · 26/10/2006 09:02

are we still on for today, weather is looking a bit crappy. Maybe have lunch somewhere rather than wandering around Kew?

Kaybee7777 · 26/10/2006 09:20

I guess we'll just end up sitting somewhere in Kew eating lunch

cori · 26/10/2006 09:36

Ok, I am going to CAT you guys my mobile number in case I am running late.

cori · 26/10/2006 09:38

which is probable because I am not dressed yet.

Veggiemummy · 26/10/2006 14:11

i missed all that too, would love to have come but have been too busy with work, i'm even off today and all, must check thread more often. oh well soon will have loads of time to check it yay.

hope you all had a good day, and enjoy Wales quokka, i love it there. it seems as soon as you cross the boarder everything seems so green and less hurried.

Kaybee7777 · 26/10/2006 16:43

What a shame you missed it Vegemummy, we were wondering where you'd disappeared off too!

Kaybee7777 · 26/10/2006 16:44

sorry meant to write 'veggiemummy' not 'vege'!!

kiwibella · 26/10/2006 21:00

how was your day out gals??

Kaybee7777 · 27/10/2006 10:58

It was good thanks, kiwibella
What a shame you couldn't make it, hope all went well at the midwife. How many weeks are you now? I only have 3 weeks to go and am soooo ready for this baby to come out!!

gen81 · 27/10/2006 17:56

Hi fellow Aussie mums,

I moved from Melbourne to London 18 months ago with my husband and 2 year old daughter. I also live in SW London (in Richmond) and would love to meet up with some Aussie mums who live nearby.
