ikea. urgh. I think I could probably rather enjoy it in my own with a room to redecorate but the other people and the dcs and dh inevitably make it hellish.

Need to start packing for holiday. Want to have a bath and go to bed instead. No hot water because it is summer so the fire isn't on.

I have decided to declutter and get the house on track. we've been here 5 years and its still a tip/building site. Fed up of waiting for dh to build a bookcase I have gone and bought 2 from ikea. Soon my cookery books will have a home. I've cleared out a load of old linen and chucked a host of unused bath stuff. if I'd not had a scan for an unconnected reason this month I'd swear I was upduffed maybe I'm nesting on your behalf juney

Oh, and kids and ikea? Use the creche. An hour of childfree decision making!

I've worked in that creche recently! It's not a bad little place. I cannot believe it's free.

I need to go to Ikea when I get this bloody house. Taking so long!

We are going to redecorate soon I think/hope. 5 years and I think we are almost sorted with with the major stuff and will be able to decorate and then I can put pictures up which I've been waiting to do so I knew what colours were going where. Might have to go child free to ikea for bits and bobs.

There is a house over the road from us for sale. They have gardens and I think are a bit bigger. We are short of thinking about being interested but only saw the sale board last night and nobody in today and no info online yet so can't nosy!

Any news on the house juney? What's the hold up?

Solicitors are slowww. I finally received draft contract yesterday so just reading that and signing stuff.

Hopefully get keys by the end of August assuming searches come back promptly!

Hello all! Just checking in to say DD2 arrived on Thursday morning, she is small and cute and her big sister is fascinated by her! We got home at lunchtime today - only 48 hours after the section which is much quicker than the EMCS last time. Lovely to be home marathon feeding session pretty much non-stop all night...
