Hi

CF and GG was great to meet you. Was especailly nice to see the LOs playing so well together.

Sparkle, sorry you couldn't make it and hope your ds will be feeling better soon.

Tallysmummy - traffic! I used to work in Southampton and I found the traffic ok but my hours of work were 7.30 - 4.00 so I could avoid most of it! If you do end up moving here avoid Newgate Lane in the mornings at all costs and you should be ok! If you need any travel tips in the future just let me know as I'm well practiced in the best way out!

BUMP!!!

Anyone else around this area, come and say Hello!

GarfieldsGirl · 03/08/2006 22:11

Hi everyone, how are you all doing?

Just got back from North Wales visiting DPs family. Very, very wet! The weather got better and better the further south we drove on way home! Apparently still raining up there today and spoke to MIL too today, who's in Italy, and its been pelting it down there since they got there yesterday!

I may be able to meet up with you guys again at the end of the hols if you're all available, but better I think if we sort something closer to the time.

Hope you're all well

cool im please to hear you have had no problems thats what im worried about!!!!!

What style house is yours? there are so many to choose from!! We are going there saturday to pick carpets and curtains. excited!!!!!!!

Dunnyjo · 25/08/2006 09:05

how exciting! [smeile] nothing nicer than buying for your home. Our house is a 2 bed, its at the top end, where they are still building. There is a little area of housing association houses, but very nice.

There is a web site cherquefarm.com and its really good because you can use the forum and talk about any issues/questions that you may have with others that live in the area. They would have a better knowledge than me. I only moved here last yr and still in the process in getting to know the area

OP posts:
Tallysmummy · 25/08/2006 09:18

It sounds like we could be very close as our house yp the top end and is one of the ones just been built.

Any problems at night around the area???

Thanks will look on web site once ive got my little one off for a nap!!!!!!!

Dunnyjo · 25/08/2006 09:28

No no problems at night. My sister is a police officer and drives around this area quite alot and has no trouble. Actually there are quite a few officers live in cherque farm.
The big houses being built right now are really very nice!
