ahhh thats better - a nice new fresh thread....

incase anyone is still reading this post....me, Dp and DD had a great day yesterday at the formby squirrel reserve as ive never been before and took loads of photos of them on mobile phone, we were feeding them with their foods and also our grapes as we had a pinic but DD who never seen the squirrels before was shouting "MIRRELS" "MIRRELS" before they all vanished in thin air...i was trying my best to say "ssshhhhhhh" !!

Sniff's not coming - her DH is taking her shopping . Says she will come to the next one so we'll have to make plans before we all leave stoppin's later! Isn't it time for another girlie night out???????

Huston we may have a slight problem, Next door has just knocked, little boy (3) next door has come out in chicken pox this mornin, just warning you, dont think he'll be doing much playin with the others and mine have already had it but thought id better let you know just in case. Hope people are ok with that, Nemo is that ok for pg ladies??

Nemo - not sure whether CP is one of those things you only need to avoid in the first 2 months? Are there any experts out there????

they suspected ds had it when I was pg with dd last year but not 100% sure. Will be fine.

Hiya Stoppin, all mine had cp now so we're still coming! I'm just about to make the butties, kids keep asking me how many children will be there lol. Looking forward to seeing everyone

Well I will be a poor guest local shop only had pepsi or vimto so got one of each...other stuff was t everyhe really cheap rola cola that will have one completely bouncing off the walls..lol

really sorry couldnt make it today ..
dh had an appointment this afternoon and would have cost me a fortune in taxis etc.
he didnt get back till 5 and i thought that might have been to late to go then ,sorry stoppinattwo hope everything went great and you all had a fab time .
hopefully be able to go to the next one

Sorry you couldn't make it Joec, my Joe kept asking for you . It was a brilliant afternoon and I can't type properly ! Thanks stoppin for a lovely, relaxing afternoon, the kids loved it and so did I. Was great catching up with you Nemo and your little ones, my dd1 thought your ds1 was adorable. We'll sort out that meal out soon jammy, p.s. can I borrow your dd1 ? xx

stoppin fantastic time had by all and ds fell into bed at 7.30pm..lol He would still be going if he could have done.

Browny ds told me he loves S and T..lol Your kids are fab and tell them thank you for watching out for A.

Joec such a pity you couldnt come would love to have met you..maybe next time.

We didnt get home till 8pm as we had shopping to do as well but dd was howling all the way thru the shopping as she fell asleep in the van!..she was not happy!
It was so lovely to see you all again, Cant wait to see you all again x

hi, thought I'd bump our thread up to the top a bit . We went to Kirkby Lonsdale today, the weather travelling there was horrendous, but once we were there the sun came out and it was lovely and warm . We had a lovely day, eating the local speciality of hot pork pies followed by homemade ice-cream and later on the most gorgeous fresh cod and chips you've ever tasted! It's my dd2's 9th birthday tomorrow, someone tell me where those 9 years went .

My exciting day consisted of getting up at 6am after 3hrs sleep, ironing from 8-12 then going to pil till 6pm when we went to church then came home. Am completely zonked and hoping kids sleep well as ds starts playschool in the morning.

Thanks Biglips! Had a lovely free visit to Grandmas today (complimentary visit), which came just in time for Katie's birthday. We took her to Frankie and Benny's last night for a meal, she loves it there because they bring out the birthday cake in the dark, with "happy birthday" playing! I've been busy trying to gather all their new uniforms to get them ready to go back to school tomorrow... then I've some serious housework to do.... I think on Thursday!

Hmm not a good day today girls, not feeling a bit well, have made and appointment with the doctor tomorrow (ASAP)........... have a feeling this isnt meant to be, but really dont worry because Im cool about it.

Had a bad night with DD last night too, Ended up in Alder Hey i thought she had a bloomin water infection poor lil chick was beside herself. Seems ok today tho

I wont be about till later.... probably after 8(ish) as got to tak DS to footie (again)

hi everyone..
happy birthday to brownys dd2.... hear she had a brilliant day .
my dd2 is 4 totmorrow. had to get her a cake today and she insisted on getting one with "birthday princess" on !!!!!
browny are you surprised?????
dd1 started at seniors today.she wa sup at 6.30 and was nervous but once we were there she eas fine and said she really enjoyed her first day .

Hello everyone! DOn't know where the last 5 days have gone - seemages since stoppin's do (thanks once again for a lovely time - lovely to catch up with everyone and meet the los that we hadn't already seen) but don't know what I've been doing to fill the time. Don't get a minute to myself but you know how it is...
Stoppin - How are you today? hope the doctor's went ok.
Browny - Happy belated Birthday to your beautiful DD2! Hope all your (older) lo's got off to school ok today.
Nemo - how did A get on at playschool?
We had quite an exciting weekend. We had a free photoshoot at a photographer's in town on Sat morning. As you can imagine DD1 LOVED it. DD2 wasn't so sure. We'er going back tonight to view the photos and for the big sell. DH and I are adamant that we're not going to get carried away as we have a couple of beautiful "studio-style" photos of J and A taken just a couple of months ago. Object oi really to get one good one of the whole family.
After our "photoshoot" we went shopping in town, had a boozy lunch at bella-pasta-thingy (the one opposite central station) did more shopping, dropped the girls off at my mum's and then went out for a boozy (more) chinese. Even had a lie in on Sun before collecting DDs from mum's...FAB!
Now...down to business. We need to oganise a grown up girls night out. Think the concensus on Fri was a nice meal (and a couple of drinks) somewhere we can just take our time. Browny suggested some places in Allerton. Any other ideas? I'm willing to get a taxi with Nemo and/or Stoppin as we're in the same area. BL how would you travel? Do you want us to find somewhere more convenient to you? There are some nice restaurants in Waterloo.
Anyway, I'm willing to do the booking,etc, but need some ideas...over to you, girls!
Sniff, joec, diege and anyone else...any ideas?
