ahhh thats better - a nice new fresh thread....

incase anyone is still reading this post....me, Dp and DD had a great day yesterday at the formby squirrel reserve as ive never been before and took loads of photos of them on mobile phone, we were feeding them with their foods and also our grapes as we had a pinic but DD who never seen the squirrels before was shouting "MIRRELS" "MIRRELS" before they all vanished in thin air...i was trying my best to say "ssshhhhhhh" !!

No manchester's completely clear at the moment but people in work are already making plans about how to get away early if the snow does start - any excuse!
I think that as I have an hour's journey to get back home I should set off now... just in case!

Jaamy · 08/02/2007 09:17

Yes, MLS, think you should leave now...stop at stabucks on the way and stock up with scrummy coffee and muffins...just in case you get stuck on the way home...

mylittlestar · 08/02/2007 09:31

Fantastic idea! Hope my boss agrees!

Or I could just get back home as quick as possible and start practicing with the bottle of red wine and straw idea

Biglips · 08/02/2007 09:33

MLS - let hope you wont be falling off the bar stool by the time i get there

Morning everyone, as usual I've missed you again, the snow's beautiful... me and ds2 have been standing outside in our back garden trying to catch it, he loves to eat it... just like me when I was little. Our puppy loves eating snowballs too and it's very strange seeing her dashing around the garden because she's almost completely white herself!. Hope everyone gets to enjoy the snow.

Biglips · 08/02/2007 10:35

browny - how is everyone is in the Browns Household?

Jaamy · 08/02/2007 11:06

LOL at DS2 catching the snow.

Am supposed to be meeting up with one of my non-MN friwnds a little later but not sure whether I want to brqave this weather. Anyone know when the snow's supposed to stop?

Jammy, Biglips, ds2 has now come down with the tummy bug, good job I've been to Costco and stocked up on nappies The snow stopped here about an hour ago and doesn't look it's going to melt before I collect the children from school, so it looks like I'm going to get pelted with snowballs at the school gates!

Biglips · 08/02/2007 13:32

Still snowing here but managed to get out to Grandmas with the DDs!

Nemo - have seen that thread and posted on it...we're off to spain that day so will be at Manc airport but promised to wear something pink in Maude's honour (don't think they allow balloons in airports?) and will sponsor anyone else who is doing the walk. We may even do it early on the Fri or something.

Browny - your poor DS2. But make sure you don't get ill for tomorrow!

Browny · 09/02/2007 11:18

Browny · 19/02/2007 11:00

I'm here now, been busy with the kiddies last week and dd1 wouldn't be parted from msn! I'm having a very lazy morning, watching CBeebies with ds2, he's been very clingy since yesterday afternoon, so I've been getting extra cuddles .

Biglips, hope you had a lovely week away .
