ahhh thats better - a nice new fresh thread....

incase anyone is still reading this post....me, Dp and DD had a great day yesterday at the formby squirrel reserve as ive never been before and took loads of photos of them on mobile phone, we were feeding them with their foods and also our grapes as we had a pinic but DD who never seen the squirrels before was shouting "MIRRELS" "MIRRELS" before they all vanished in thin air...i was trying my best to say "ssshhhhhhh" !!

Hi Nemo - hope you're not struggling too much. Not long now - bet everyone says that! Why's farmer Ted's cheaper on a fri? Would have thought it would be more £. Anyway, unless I can get a roof rack to strap Browny to, my little clan are the only ones going on the 11th, which I've discovered is the day the DD2 gets her MMR so maybe not be able to go at all - will see how she is...

Welcome on board Rachfran - im from Seaforth (originally from the Wirral) and got 1 dd (26m) and 1 sd who is 7 (8 in march)

my dd is having her 2 year development assessment today and also will be picking up a 6m old cat to bring home - its a tortoise shell short haired cat and is sssoooooo cute! (i love these "festive" smileys )

sorry jaamy meant farmer teds is cheaper the fri rather than sat as Hs bday is sat.however not going now anyway as we are skint again and been told this week[merry bloody christmas] that Dh will not have a job by end of jan. Obviously with christmas, baby etc time is not the best so only god knows what will happen!!!

Oh Nemo - so sorry - such bad timing. Was this where your DH was doing his IT training? Could my DH pass on any contacts to him that might help? He was made redundant this time 2 years ago so still has lots of contacts with agancies, etc. Let me know if you need anything - you have my email addy, I think.

BL - yes we will have to do something in the new year. Hope you are over your cold.

Nemo, awful news about your dh, couldn't have come at a worse time, I hope he'll find something straight away, how are you, I remember being heavily pregnant with my first baby at Christmas, I felt like I was the stuffed turkey... it didn't stop my dad and brother expecting their xmas roast tho!

Jammy, have you all got over your horrible colds? My ds1 had the flu for a week, poor little mite was burning hot then shivering and now he's been so very generous and passed it to me. Dh and I were due to actually go out for once in a blue moon on Saturday but I had to cancel as I felt so bad.

never rains it pours..lol H is sick again with a bad chest infection so waiting for gps verdict tonight as already been to walk in centre who cant prescribe for her but said she needs seeing to asap. So fingers crossed please xxxxxx

Jaamy it isnt the job he was doing the it training with, he was/is a sales rep but doing the course independently. He has finished the first part in nov so now has one of the qualifications but still has a year so till he is fully trained in microsoft. He has sent his cv off to 7 or 8 jobs over the weekend and is still looking for other things so we shall see.

well fingers crossed DH has an interview for a IT job but interview is 10th jan...so please please please he gets it!!!
H is one tommorow[or now actually as just saw time] cant believe how quickly that has gone by...and will have another baby in 3.5wks..arrghhhh eeeekkk and how exciting at the same time..lol

Have started a new thread for meet up in New year. Can't do links but entitled "Liverpool New Year Meet up" - imaginative, eh?

Browny - colds finally gone - they didn't half linger so look forward to visiting you (and cat and dog!) in the New Year. Hope DS1 is well over his flu.

Stoppin - I STILL have birthday pressie for your M. Will try and drop it round before Christmas. At this rate she'll be 21 before she gets it!

Hope everyone else ok. BL are you over the flu, too?

hello all
hope you are all ready for christmas.....we are sort of..lol Dh still job hunting but hopeful he will get something by end of jan. 2 weeks until I should be going to have the baby..although this week mw told me baby had engaged which H just didnt do at all...eeekk. H is still a bit ill and on steroids again for her asthma but shes not as bad as she has been which is a bonus!!! She turned 1 on saturday and we just had a nice day at home in peace. Put a picture of her under member profiles if anyone is interested.

Hope you all have a fab christmas if dont get over here....obviously doubt very much if can come on jan meet up due to baby and lack of funds!!

Hi everyone, I've been without my internet connection for almost two weeks now and I've really, really, really missed it!Xmas Sad. I had two problems, first of all our pup chewed through yet another phone extension socket, connected to the p.c. and then my b.t. line went dead and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. Anyway, I'm on dial-up for a couple of weeks, while I wait for my Sky broadband connection.

Happy Birthday to your little dd Nemo, I'm glad she's a little better and I've got my fingers crossed for your dh too .

Jammy, I'm glad the horrible cold bug has finally left your house, hopefully we'll see you all in the New Year.
