ahhh thats better - a nice new fresh thread....

incase anyone is still reading this post....me, Dp and DD had a great day yesterday at the formby squirrel reserve as ive never been before and took loads of photos of them on mobile phone, we were feeding them with their foods and also our grapes as we had a pinic but DD who never seen the squirrels before was shouting "MIRRELS" "MIRRELS" before they all vanished in thin air...i was trying my best to say "ssshhhhhhh" !!

qucik question anyone know anybody who wants to buy a train table. Need to get rid asap as the second cot is coming this week. It is a year old as we got it for As 2nd bday but has been pushed up in corner last 4mths.

HI all!
Nemo - will ask sister about train table for her DSs but don't think she has the room. How exciting - Cot number 2!
While we're on the subject of ebaying...does anybody know of anyone who might want a butchers/kitchen island? No room for it now that kitchen has been hacked up for door into what was garage. It's not one of those cheap ones, proper sturdy! Should really have ebayed it by now but haven't got round to it.

traintable does seem huge but believe me when track is set up it doesnt seem as big.

New cot arrived today so am excited at prospect of putting it up..saddo I am..lol Also my mum told me today she has bought us a twin explorer pram for when baby arrives which is fab but have my doubts as to whether a side by side will fit through the front door.

Oooh, it's quiet in here! Just popping on to ask whether anyone has been to the Acorn Venture farm in kirkby and whether they thought it was any good. THinking of going tomorrow for A's birthday as Farmer ted's is closed on tues, Croxteth park farm is closed during the week and A's fave thing at the moment is animals...any comments gratefully received.
Also HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO your A FOR TOMORROW - Nemo!

jaampire not been to acorn adventure farm so hope its good. Huge HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY to A Ds bday buddy!!!

We are taking A to blackpool to see lights..we have been every year for his birthday and he always loves it so hoping he enjoys it tommorow. He is super excited as he got his bday cake ready to take to playgroup in the morning..lol

Ive been to Acorn Venture farm, its good, its not very big but there is plenty of farm type animals to see, also its not terribly warm atm so i wouldnt think you want to be out too long so its probably about right. could easily spend an hour there.

Am trying to keep up with all these birthdays!!! happy birthday to everyone for this week

Blackpool lights is a lovely tradition, nemo. How on earth do you get A to stay awake????? Have fun!

Happy 1st Birthday to your beautiful DD2 for tomorrow . Yes we've been once to Acorn Farm and stayed about one hour. There were pigs (and piglets, when we went), loads of hens to feed (you can buy little bags of food, your dd1 would love that), goats, ducks and sheep. There is a small cafe that might come in handy for a cuppa to warm you up if it's cold. It's not very big, so ideal just for one hour.

Happy 3rd Birthday to your ds Nemo too! , Hope Blackpool isn't too cold .

hi all didnt end up going to blackpool as been in A+E with A. He has a very swollen tinker so is on antibiotics and had to be swabbed etc. Poor mite so we have put off trip till friday..just trying to decide what to do about tea now!!!
