Thought I would start a new thread as the old one is getting full.

Next meet up is on Wednesday 10th April, 10ish at the Durham Botanical Gardens. We will either be in the entrance or staking a couple of the picnic tables by the pond.
I will be giving Vikinglady a lift.

Oh if we had afternoon cocktails we might actually be able to sit down in ebony!

Scratches head... Anything bar November 16th for me. Having a pissed off rainy day today.

Lumiere is on from November 14 - 17 so Durham will be heaving those days.

Definitely up for November 9th. Would timidly suggest cocktails as an option.

cocktails is mandatory and not open for negotiation. We drink cocktails. We eat somewhere. Toying with the idea of suggesting we treat ourselves to he Cellar Door? But on the other hand if we go for curry there is more money to spend on cocktails.

Hi all, thanks for the invite and I would have loved to but have a big (and expensive) "do" to go to on the 2nd and then a wedding at t'other end of the country which will need a few nights stay at the end of November and, with one eye on Christmas, I don't think I can really afford it

Definitely count me for the next one though

Place on Saddler Street hidden away www.thecellardoordurham.co.uk. Not been but have heard good things. Might be a bit fancy for us lot .

They serve their lemon tart with gin and tonic ice cream..........

But happy with curry as well easily pleased cocktails mandatory though.

Seriously, somebody decide and tell me when and where to turn up. My brain is fucked from having to make proper serious decisions all day and being all responsible. I long for the simplicity of being told what to do. My brain actually hurts
