Hyde Park, Sunday 9th July (provisionally just in case any other events suddenly spring into their schedule).

So, who is up for it?

are you sure? oh wow thank you let me kiss your hand. obviously will ahve to check diary now and make sure I haven't double booked....so many engagements - so little time la la la [manitz pretends she actually owns/needs a friggin diary]...

I'll be the one with a brat attached to each leg - usually until 10 mins before end when they decide they want to play and have hissy fits.

manitz · 24/05/2006 17:59

sorry i was replying to snafu, didn't mean to be rude. I shall be bringing dd's 1 and 3 but no dh as he will be overwhelmed.

snafu · 24/05/2006 18:00

Oh, bring him, he'll love it, mwahahahahahaaaaa

manitz · 24/05/2006 18:05

let me clarify, i did mean to be rude to snafu. foxinsocks are you mistaking me for a footie fan? or do you think travelling will be tricky cos of the final? I'm presuming it will be tricky with the dds anyway spesh if i bring my (urine soaked) p and t.

martian · 26/05/2006 22:46

So is there a definite time and place for this now? Hyde Park's very big ...

flutterbee · 26/05/2006 23:28

Can you please put me down as a maybe, it all depends on who is in the final of the World Cup as I am ashamed to admit to being a footie fan.

Maybe maybe maybe

VeniVidiVickiQV · 26/05/2006 23:53

Will do an update very very soon.

imaginaryfriend · 02/06/2006 16:36

Please could you add me to the list? I'm in SE London and have one dd aged 3.8.

magnolia1 · 10/06/2006 16:00

Well, may not be coming now Sad

Can't leave the kids with dh on world cup final day!!!! And can't bring 4 kids to london Sad

Cod · 10/06/2006 16:01

im not
will you all cry

Snafu · 10/06/2006 16:03

manitz and I are still coming but only if England do not reach the final mwahahahahaaaa

Fauve · 10/06/2006 19:22

I'm really sorry, but ds' school has reorganised a function to be on that date. Ds will kill us if we're not there.

So sorry, please cross Fauve and clerkKent off the list Sad

foxinsocks · 10/06/2006 19:24

ahh always wondered who clarkKent's other half was!

WelshBoris · 10/06/2006 19:45

Cross me off the list

Fauve · 10/06/2006 20:32

Yes, it's me, FIS, and in fact ds is under close scrutiny for possible coeliac symptoms atm, which is [sometimes] worrying the life out of me. (I know you meet up regularly with clerkKent on the allergy threads: don't worry, I'm not the jealous kind Grin)

FrannyandZooey · 11/06/2006 07:52

Is this happening or not? Some of us are booking hotels and stuff but I've now been told it might have been cancelled :(

FrannyandZooey · 11/06/2006 12:16

Bump

anyone know?

Posey · 11/06/2006 14:28

Sorry no idea. Had assumed it was still going ahead (its on my calendar)
Anyone in the know?

CristinaTheAstonishing · 11/06/2006 15:38

Shall we have a more definitive place for meeting in Hyde Park? How about the Princess Diana playground (NOT fountain) in the grass/picnic area on the left? Loos nearby, coffee etc.

imaginaryfriend · 11/06/2006 20:13

I've never been to the Princess Diana playground, where is it, roughly, in Hyde Park? Say, in relation to South Ken underground?

FrannyandZooey · 11/06/2006 21:12

Bump

VVV

is this still going ahead?

CristinaTheAstonishing · 11/06/2006 22:07

I think, technically, it's Kensington Gardens, the NW corner of Hyde Park, more easy to reach from Notting Hill tube station. It's a v nice park, lots to do. Entrance only allowed to adults if accompanied by children. \link{http://www.mykensington.co.uk/kensington/goingout-parks-diana.htm\P Diana playground}

hunkermunker · 11/06/2006 22:24

I'm not coming. Don't want a load of MNers slagging me off on secret threads again after it.

handlemecarefully · 11/06/2006 22:25

Aww hunkermunker!

I'm not going either - I avoid meetups, don't want MN taking over my life. Happy with 30 minute sessions 3 or 4 times per week.
