Anyone up for this???

OP posts:
fennel · 19/04/2006 20:17

dd3 is two this weekend and is just discovering tantrums after an angelic start in life.

essbee · 19/04/2006 20:19

If any of you'd met my ds you'd not apologise for any tantrums. He's 8 and could win hands down!

What time are we meeting?

spacecadet · 19/04/2006 20:22

..ahem..essbee..im sitting patiently by my phoneGrin

essbee · 20/04/2006 03:26

You were too impatient dear spacecadet Grin

Now, did we sort out time?? can i suggest about 10.30/11?

spacecadet · 20/04/2006 09:54

i cant beleive you were still up at that timeShock

mum2sam · 20/04/2006 21:26

omg esbee thats a late night! Yeah thats fine with me have we decided on a plan B in case it decides to chuch it down Grin

essbee · 22/04/2006 04:07

Nah! That wasn't a late night, this is a late night! Wink

essbee · 22/04/2006 04:11

Just read tthrough the messages and I an't figure out what plan b was? blam e the gin if you like but can we confirm, when and where? for thickos like me Grin ta!

fennel · 22/04/2006 10:21

is Plan A on the Hoe (assuming good weather) and Plan B the soft play area mentioned earlier?

mum2sam · 23/04/2006 17:25

I think plan A was def agreed but we didnt arange a plan B. But considering the way weather is changing I think maybe we should just in case it rains. The soft play was one suggestion.

fennel · 25/04/2006 09:41

OK this is TOMORROW. we need to have a PLAN. I think Essbee, Italianjob and me are coming together from Exeter to Plymouth to arrive at about 10.30. (but where to?)

who else is still coming?

Icequeen
Mumtosam
Woosmummy (are you the same as Roosmummy? or is she someone else?)
Tonyswife
Jimjams?

iPodthereforiPoor · 25/04/2006 10:28

Woosmummy is different from roosmummy, and is now iPodthereforiPoor - sorry!

This morning in plymouth it is so foggy I can't see the end of the garden. Tomorrow is due to be wet again.

I'm still up for it.

So, shall we aim for the hoe or go for an indoor option? The aquarium on the Barbican is great, but does cost ~£8 for an adult. or we can all discover the softplay place - its quite easy to find from the A38, but I'm not sure on the quality of the coffee!

iPodthereforiPoor · 25/04/2006 10:31

Alternatively, if there's only me from Plymouth, I'm happy to come up to Exeter - as there are a pair of green converse boots calling from the High Street.

my email is jem898 @ yahoo.co.uk

fennel · 25/04/2006 10:36

It doesn't matter to me where we meet, I think there were 5 possibles from Plymouth, and 3 of us were coming together from Exeter, so it would make sense to still meet in Plymouth if the others are around and still coming.

if there are quite a few pre-schoolers i guess a soft play is a good idea. it's not great weather for hanging around outdoors for very long.

iPodthereforiPoor · 25/04/2006 11:22

Here are directions to the Softplay place, from exeter, leaving on the A38 to plymouth.

At Marsh Mills (Big sainsburys) continue forward on the A38 (signposted Liskeard) A38
Continue forward onto The Parkway - A38. Entering Plymouth A38 40.94

At Manadon junction, branch left (signposted City Centre,Tavistock), then at roundabout take the 5th exit, then merge onto Manadon Hill - A386 (signposted Tavistock) Branch left, then at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Budshead Road - B3373 (signposted Tamerton Foliot) B3373
Finish on Budshead Road,Whitleigh and follow signs for Christian Mill.

There is a Seat garage there and the playzone is behind it. \link{http://www.plymouthplayzone.co.uk\this}

Hope that helps

fennel · 25/04/2006 13:38

bump. where are the others? is it just us?

thanks for that ipod.

iPodthereforiPoor · 25/04/2006 13:44

hopefully they will check tonight for details!

mum2sam · 25/04/2006 14:18

Im here! Having a bad morning with ds Grin So we are meeting at playzone at 10.30am. Any ideas on how we will recognise each other or do we have a meeting point. Shall we just meet inside by the entrance?

iPodthereforiPoor · 25/04/2006 19:04

Sounds good. - I'll be with a tiny boy who will be trying to climb the walls by the entrance!

Real name Jen, baby - Griffin, 14 months, I'll probably have a green jacket with embroidered dragon on it and jeans.

Ohh, i'm getting scared now!

essbee · 25/04/2006 20:09

Hi! MTS, Fennel and I will see you there then! Fennel, i'l pick ou up straight from school so around 9.30am. I'll be the one with the huge bags under my eyes craving a coffee without small people & Fennel, I'll be the one at your door telling you i'm driving you to a place you don't know Grin

fennel · 25/04/2006 20:26

good. see you all there then.

I am about 5'7, light brown/reddish blond hair in messy bob, with a blond 2 year old girl.

Essbee, see you 9.30, hope you find the house ok.

essbee · 25/04/2006 20:28
