I'm back at work from the 6th March for Mon-Wed again, after my extensive maternity leave. Could I ask politely if there is another City meet up planned????

Any time will do me? As far as I am concerned, my diary is completely free

Hi, I'm very much the "new girl" when it comes to City MNers meet ups, but I do hope another one is planned soon as I really enjoyed attending the November meet up.

Happy to organise or help organise (provided, of course, I am not treating on anyone's toes) a meet up early next month when Beachyhead is back at work!

Marina · 10/02/2006 09:32

Do you want to blub (or rant) into your pizza beforehand beachy or once you are back in harness?
Hi Novembergirl!
you tell us beachy and NG and I will maybe start suggesting dates and bumping...
I think I saw long-standing luncher Twinkie flitting through as well so it could be quite a reunion.

whiffy · 10/02/2006 10:07

Oooo. Hello.

Am relatively new to MN and tripped over this thread by accident. Can I join you? DS is 2 and have recently found out that am unexpectedly pg with no 2. Won't be telling anyone for ages(except everyone on MN of course), and will be too scared to tell big bad boss, might try to delay that one until I go into labour...

Working in EC2, german bank. I'm the one throwing up in the loos.

Would be good to meet up with other city MN'ers to have a laugh, share war stories, and poke pins into 'India Knight' voodoo dolls.... or whatever it is you guys do on meet-ups.

Cristina7 · 10/02/2006 10:11

Back at work too, starting March, Mon_Wed. I'd love to join you for a meet-up.

HandbagAddiction · 10/02/2006 10:15

Marina - good idea on suggesting the dates as it has been ages since we all last met up....and I am now sporting a rather impressive bump to show everyone.

Beachyhead - would be lovely to see you again....and also to meet up with some new people too.

I'm still based around Tower Hill but can 'race' back up the Minories for a Pizza Pomodoro meeting quite easily....

Marina · 10/02/2006 10:20

Excellent, more new persons! (and handbagaddiction's bump!)
As beachy has indicated her diary is a yawning chasm at the mo, can I pluck
Thursday 2nd March out of the air so we can start seeing who is free that day?
Venue later maybe. Pizza Pomodoro has always been good in the past...

Marina · 10/02/2006 10:21

Sorry cristina does that mean Thursdays are good for you or bad for you? (Some lunchers find it easier to attend on days when they aren't working...)

Cristina7 · 10/02/2006 10:22

Thu 2nd March is fine for me so far. I'm near Russell Sq/Tottenham Ct Rd, so can travel a bit on the tube.

whiffy · 10/02/2006 10:27

2nd March good for me.

Marina · 10/02/2006 10:29

Ok {smile] 2nd March, 12.30pm everyone!
All City bods past, present and future welcome...

Novembergirl · 10/02/2006 10:41

The 2nd March is good for me too; its in my diary already so that someone else does not sneak in a meeting! Looking forward to seeing everyone again/meeting all the new ladies.

HandbagAddiction · 10/02/2006 11:52

Noooooo - I'm on holiday that entire week! So I'll miss you all.

I'm planning to work through to the end of April though...so maybe I can catch one in April if we try and get back to doing one a month! By then, I should have an even bigger bump to show off!!

Sponge · 14/02/2006 10:20

Noooo. I'm on holiday that week too and have missed I think the last 3.
Can't we do it the week after. Pleeeeeeeze.

Dinosaur · 14/02/2006 10:31

I could do either 2nd March or 9th March - really don't mind which.

Cristina7 · 15/02/2006 04:45

9th March is fine with me too.

whiffy · 15/02/2006 15:17

9th March works for me fine.

Marina · 15/02/2006 15:19

I'm fine with the 9th, especially if it means more bods

Kayleigh · 15/02/2006 19:07

Just found this thread. I can't do 9th March as I won't be in the office that day. Will have to catch up soon though as won't be a city girl for much longer !

Novembergirl · 15/02/2006 22:00

I can also make 9th March...

Cristina7 · 16/02/2006 18:37

I've changed this for the 9th in my diary.

beachyhead · 18/02/2006 13:00

Hello sorry to have wandered off for a few days.... I'm working Mon-Wed so Thursdays are not so good at all.....can anyone do 6th, 7th or 8th or the following week 13th-16th.

Don't want to miss out.....Sorry.

Novembergirl · 20/02/2006 12:34

As beachyhead started this thread, it would seem churlish, to say the least, to have lunch without her, so, in Marina's absence, can I suggest moving the meetup to Wednesday 8th March as your 'starter for ten...'???

beachyhead · 20/02/2006 21:32

And, talk about churlish, I get back to work and discover that MN is 'blocked' from all computers......What am I going to do now.....
March 8th is OK, being mega pissy churlish, would prefer 13th-15th March as diary is suddenly filled up with stinky meetings and a mega conference on the 7th March (which is why I am visiting work this week).

OP posts:
Novembergirl · 20/02/2006 22:35

...no MN at work...oh dear beachyhead, this is not good; I'm not sure how I would cope without browsing my favourite websites...

As no one else seems to be about at the moment, can I propose that the meetup is now Wednesday 15th March??? Hope that, as a 'new girl,' I'm not interfering - what does everyone else think?

Hope your meetings are not too 'stinky' beachyhead...

Where is everyone by the way???

Cristina7 · 20/02/2006 22:42

15th is fine for me. I'm behind the British Museum, can travel.
