Barnet/Enfield/Watford/St Albans March evening meet-up

Hello all, Kayleigh and I thought it was about time we all saw each other!

We thought Thursday 16th March, hope that suits.

I have two suggestions: Moor Mill in Bricket Wood where we had dinner once before,

or

The Colney Fox in London Colney - a pub/restaurant which is heavily focused on food.

I've been to both places several times - they both have good varied menus and the food is excellent at both.

Hi Pebble I could do Tuesday morning just as long as I'm back in Stanmore by around 1:30pm, take my ds swimming in the afternoon. If that's ok with you then, we could meet in tues morning. Smile

Hi girls, so sorry to hear about the leg Kayleigh. :( Well, I'm still a 'maybe' at the moment. DD goes to bed around 8:30pm these days and sleeps till 3-4am so I'm hoping I might be able to make it for dessert! I'll look up the location and work out how long it will take me etc. to see if it's a possibility! Would be lovely to see you all again. x

Am going to have to bow out of this one too. Its my birthday (30th Shock) the next day and we cant afford for me to have two nights out in the same week atm. Sad

Am determined to meet up with the Barnet/Enfield/Watford/St Albans mums at some point though!

Hello all - just checking in to keep this thread in my current list. Still unsure about whether I can make it, but feeling more hopeful today than I was! Have had enormous sleep problems with DD, but have made some progress over last few days, and DH will be home on Thurs night, so if I can just work on the expressing then there is hope!

Sorry to read about your leg Kayleigh and your BP Melsy. Sounds like a right laugh wheelchair shopping though!

Not sure if gonna be able to do tomorrow as I'm not feeling great - think I'm coming down with something and DD has been waking up 3/4 times a night with teething probs - so bit tired! Can I see how I feel in the morning and let you know?? What time were you thinking of meeting? x

Pebble don't worry if you're not feeling great! We can meet another time, what about arranging something on Thursday? TBH it might be a bit tight anyways as I have to drop off a buggy in Hillingdon then come over your way and then take my little man to his swimming. Shall we just arrange something at the dinner?

Well. I never check the meet up threads now, so I missed the 'excitement' of the fracture. You poor thing Kayleigh. No chance of coming now ds2 is in the world I'm afraid... dh says he's not looking after 2 kids together until they're school age Smile. I'll be working on that... But if there's a with-kids meet up at a venue I can get to by bus from Whetstone, thats suitable for a baby and an uncontrolable manic toddler, count me in Grin

Bum , Ive got to pull out & would have loved to see everyone and new faces Sad, especially as have been ill for a change and stuck at home, but I have opportunity of meeting one of the very few doulas in my area that evening and I may need to whip her up PDQ , as shes meant to be lovely & vvvvvv popular.

Cyan & pebbles wouold have joined in arrangments , but have had laryngitis. Ive lost track of what your plans were/ are, I can do Mondays . I find Im easily confused this pregnancy!!!

Have just rung Harvester and they don't take bookings. Why don't we meet at 8:00 in bar area and then go sit down at about 8:20. Looks like 6 definites and 2 maybes.

Yes, lovely evening, two very nice new mums who we hope will be part of our meet-ups in the future!

scooter, we haven't yet organised the next one. We normally have a little gap for two or three weeks and then someone will start a new thread for a meet in April or May. Look forward to meeting you then.
