jaamy · 09/01/2006 00:05

Hello and belated Happy New Year to All!!!!
Sorry not been posting - DH had 2 weeks off over Christmas and been working from home since so what little routine I had has gone out the window - don't seem to have time to do anything. Plus the girls are both very unsettled - they still think it's Christmas with Daddy at home everyday.
So sorry to hear that Sophia had to have an op, FAS. YOu sound very calm about it - I'd have had a trauma if I had have had to hand over my little Abigail to a surgeon. Glad sophia's ok now.
I won't be able to make the meet up on the 23rd - Jessica should be in nursery but it's her 2nd birthday and I'm not sure whether I'll send her. She'll probably enjoy the day better running riot with her friends there than being with me telling her "don't touch this" or "stop that" all the time! Or should I be selfish and have her all to myself?
ANyway, hope all are ok.
Hope you're feeling better joec.
Good luck to anyone who's dieting - I need a huge injection of willpower to try and shift this baby fat.
Take care x

biglips · 09/01/2006 18:09

jaamy - we are organising a liverpool nightout poss on 18th feb.. wanna come? take a look here

BROWNY · 09/01/2006 20:14

Julezboo, I tried to e-mail you with details of the car seat, but it said your e-mail address was inadequate. .

Anyway, just to let you know it is dark blue strip, very good condition - hardly used at all, with a newborn insert which has never been used. Never been in a crash and is from a no-smoking home.

julezboo · 10/01/2006 09:05

im ssooo tired today as with all that swimming at the baths for over an hour! my head is so sleepy!! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

BROWNY · 13/01/2006 11:46

Where's everyone gone??

Maybe you're all doing your spring-cleaning then??

jaamy · 13/01/2006 17:17

No spring cleaning here, browny, though could be doing with it! Everyone's obviously preparing for our night out - god knows it'll take me 5 weeks to get ready, with all the little interruptions!
DH's birthday coming up and I want to take him out for a meal, etc somewhere different. Any suggestions, anyone??? I fancy somewhere in town so we can get the train in and then go round a few bars afterwards to make the most of the babysitter. Not really eaten out much in town so any ideas welcome.
V impressed and of your swimming biglips!
Hope everyone ok.

mummytosteven · 13/01/2006 17:24

what type of food does he like, jaamy?

OP posts:
mazzystar · 13/01/2006 17:26

hallo all

i met biglips and her dd at tiny talk for the first time today. L is a little star!

jaamy, there are some really nice places now, one i like is called heart and soul on mount pleasant, or there is a fab new-ish italian, wracking my brains to remember the name. what kind of thing do you like, will have a think

hoping ot meet you all at the night out...

jaamy · 13/01/2006 17:40

Oh, he'll eat anything! Always willing to try something new, too! Only thing he's not too fond of is seafood - that's my area! As long as there's a good choice on the menu, something is bound to take his fancy. Really want somewhere with a nice atmosphere but not too busy so we can take our time - don't get much chance for that at home! What kind of food does heart and soul do, mazzy?

biglips · 13/01/2006 21:24

yes it was lovely to meet you and your little one - hes so adorable!

Jaamy - about the meal for you to take DH out. i cant really think of one!! i will report back to you once ive found couple of places as i usually go for an indian - yum yum! or in the China town. a place called mayflower i think and it was so enjoyable and there is a greek restuarant which is a new thing for me as its soooo delicious.. there is one by the Philamonic and other is by TOY R US..yum yum!!!!

mazzystar · 13/01/2006 21:37

jaam

this is heart and soul

the funky italian in castle chambers just off castle street is called piccolinos is lovley food and fun atmosphere

the two newest ones that i haven't been to yet are il forno, italian on duke street and alma de cuba (but this is £££)

also a really groovy new bar has just opened on the ground floor of the vanilla factory - its run by the ladytron people, called cordova or cordoba.

biglips · 13/01/2006 21:41

what about the other italian place and its behind burger king (next door to rat & parrot and opposite yates - bus depo)?? it got a very short name as i went last year and it was so lovely

Nemo1977 · 13/01/2006 21:41

ooo MS that looks nice..just told DH we will have to go, its his bday in feb so may treat him!!

Nemo1977 · 13/01/2006 21:46
