biglips · 08/01/2006 11:03

julezboo - you mean you've just passed your test? if yes, CONGRATS and motorway is sssoooo easy as i love motorways as less dangerous than street driving - iykiwm!!

congratulations on your niece, and shame that you've got to wait to go and see her?

OP posts:
biglips · 08/01/2006 13:30

joec · 08/01/2006 13:35

ye. its a tummy bug.feel much better today but was really ill yesterday.
ds1 got it now so am sure they will all be sick by the end of the week.
thanx for congrats for my niece. have posted abirth announcement and will print it off to show proud parents when i finally see them

BROWNY · 08/01/2006 14:09

Hi J, sorry you've been feeling so ill - Katie was sick last week too, luckily enough she kept it to herself!!. Congratulations on your new little neice, you're so lucky.... I can't wait for the day my brother is a Dad (but as he's 37 this year, I'm not holding out much hope ).

Nemo, hope you and your little ones are well and that Hannah is thriving!!.

BROWNY · 08/01/2006 14:14

I'm having a clear-out!! I've a baby walker (from Mothercare) with electronic sounds on the tray - hardly used, a portable baby swing with tunes and music (again, ds2 didn't like the swing, so that hardly got used) and a bouncy chair with vibration and music.... I'll get more details later. Oh, and because we've sold our other car, I've got a Britax FirstClass baby seat from birth up until 4 years for sale - it was used once or twice but that's all, never been in a crash and comes with a newborn baby insert - cost £105 new!!.

Any reasonable offers considered

biglips · 08/01/2006 14:20

browny - sounds like you've got good stuff there.. so deffo no more kiddies then?

BROWNY · 08/01/2006 14:22

YOU'VE GOT THAT RIGHT!!!. I was going to keep it all for my brother... but I haven't got the room to store it all and neither has he, so thought I'd offer it to our Liverpool lot, before I put it on the FOR SALE thread!

p.s. c u tomorrow at 11am!

biglips · 08/01/2006 14:25

youre gonna have to say to your bro "Oi, when am i gonna be a aunty??" (not like my brother!! lol)

BROWNY · 08/01/2006 14:29

I did that at Xmas!!! He's all up for becoming a dad this year... he's very broody, but the problem is his girlfriend is Asian and despite being with my brother for almost 9 years, she hasn't told her family that she's with him, she's thinks they'll go crazy, so unfortunately, he's her secret, so if does tell them, they'll disown her. So turning up pregnant isn't going to help their situation, it's very sad as their relationship still can't be out in the open

biglips · 08/01/2006 14:30

oh dear!..

joec · 08/01/2006 14:33
