Mishi - course we blooming haven't managed to organise a meet without you to kick us all into touch . But how about having a meet up at Granmas at Hunts Cross on the morning of 23rd Jan 2005 (best after 20th as DH get's paid on 20th so better cash flow position!!)

our lodger had moved back to his GFs and get it sorted once and for all plus hes got a job where his GF lives but nothing around here at all!

Thanks for opportunity to moan about work but honestly, once I get started I'd never stop. Needless to say the days are really dragging until I can get back home to my gorgeous girls. A is loving nursery so makes it a teeny weeny bit easier. Sorry I'm not able to make any meet ups. Really feel like I'm missing out on things.
Am supposed to be going to Ladies Day at Aintree on Friday but am quickly going off the idea. Think would rather spend the day with DDs [bad mummy emoticon!]

Oh forgot to say (knew there was a reason I wanted to post) - we put A in her own room last night, well at least in to the spare room as her room isn't actually built yet. She slept right through and seemed very content when she woke this morning. Probably liked spreading out in that big cot. Kind of miss her little snuffly noises in her moses basket at the bottom of our bed, not to mention her breaking wind!!:o One of those landmark days that remind you that you can't freeze time and the little ones ALWAYS grow up.
Nemo - any news on H. How's she doing? Did someone say they'd started a thread for her?

jaamy - i was so gald when my DD went into her own bedroom (at 7 mths old) as i wasnt have to creep round as i was able to jump up and down on my bed!! .... when DD first grew out of her 0-3 mths old clothes i really didnt want her to grow up but now i look forward her growing up.

btw i didnt get the job that i went for the interview last week as i was kinda hoping i didnt get it as it was the same as my previous job and i hated it and it was in the call centre with targets - gosh it was horrible!!

Biglips - Congratulations on NOT getting the job!:o Didn't sound very nice. Good luck with finding something that suits you.

Biglips I will second congratulations at NOT getting the NU job I used to work there and bl**dy hated it. I too hated call centre work, Sales Targets and horrible working hours not to mention the managers being thick as pigshit my manager actually had a file on everyone like managers do and one day when I had an appraisal thingy with her I saw it she had divided it into two bits entitled Emma....Good Bits, Bad Bits ..How professional!

well i hated (ans everyone else did too) working for Capita and was selling Abbeys motor ins products (they've gone under now and NU had bought their motor products)... their targets was horrible as if we didnt hit the target at the end of the month, Abbey were getting penalties - £1000!! so we were all so miserable and even of my friend who worked for abbey for 8 yrs said that it was the best thing that Abbey did - went under!

we are now off swimming before the schools breaks up for half term or otherwise we will never able to swim in the pool!

See you've changed your name BL! Enjoy your swim today, hope the water's lovely and warm! Kids break up today at 2 o'clock, just hope the weather's going to be dry for the next two weeks, as I'll probably be spending the whole time at the park!

I have finally been given the all clear from the hospital... At last we can start getting back to normal, well at least til my next period when we have to have more blood tests.

hi all
not had chance to catch up but just letting you know hannah is back home. She has inhalers to take and I have to watch her breathing and note down all her feeds etc as she has lost 2lb in one week but she is home which is the main thing. We have appointments coming through in post for reflux clinic and something to do with her breathing aswell as apparently she has a weak chest[which basically means infantile asthma]

hope everyone is ok as me and DD got a cold infection so ive been given tabs and nasal spray - i feel so much better as sinuses were kicking off after my cold went and DD is happy as usual... was out all morning and i came back for a cuppa before we go swimming but DD fell asleep in her playpen so will leave it till next week ...

Just wanted to boast about my win today!!! I won m.net virtual Grand National, and I'm getting a prize from Whizzz in the post too - oooh, wonder if Mr Postie will be able to fit it through my letter box, it was really kind of Whizzz wasn't it to offer a prize??!!!

Anyway, we're just getting over that horrible stomach bug in our house, hope no-one else comes down with it.

Lovely to hear happy news about Nemo's little dd!. Julezboo, sorry you had to go through that on Friday, really hope they diagnose the problem quickly for you, keep your chin up and take good care of yourself, maybe we'll get the chance to meet soon.

Julez and Nemo at least you've escaped a bit from the hospitals!!!! Poor little H, hopefully they can come up witha good treatment for her though now she's been diagnosed with asthma! poor sweety.
