I have a 3 month old dd and really need to get out and meet some other mums in the area or even just email/post on here - just feeling a bit isolated at the moment and all my friends are single and childless. I live in the Tunbridge wells/Tonbridge area and would love to hear from anyone who lives near

Hi All,

Look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday on the proviso that I can get parked in one of the car parks. Snugglepuss I have emailed you.

See you soon

snufflepuss · 23/04/2006 18:24

Ok have given the wrong email - sorry it is [email protected] not com ...

\link{http://www.upmystreet.com/map/l/tn13+3jl.html?mapX=553132&mapY=155897&mapX1=552343&mapY1=155474&mapX2=553658&mapY2=156526&mapScale=10000&mapShowPP=&mapSess=&mapGoS.x=246&mapGoS.y=11\map of 7Oaks High St}

The red circle/London Underground type symbol is more or less where Cafe Nero is.

Choice of car parks - either Blighs or the Leisure Centre.

At the end of the High St at the traffic lights, turn left into Pembroke Road and left into Blighs car park. If you walk towards the High St thru the pedestrianised bit, Coffee Republic on your right or M&S on your left, turn right onto High St, cross the road and walk along to Cafe Nero.

Or

Turn Right at the Traffic lights into Suffolk Way and left to get into Leisure centre car park and immediately left again to park in the bit nearest the road. Cross the road and you will see the market bit to your left and the bus station area with a greasy spoon cafe. Walk up this bit towards the High Street - Boots on your right - turn left and walk a bit and you will find Cafe Nero.

I have a red Mamas & Papas Pulse buggy and will try and sit near the front depending on how busy it is.

Please still email me so we can swop mobile nos.

It was nice to meet you all on Wednesday, perhaps next time we could go for a walk round Knowle Park?

Kellsmc · 30/04/2006 15:32

Good to meet you too. Knowle Park sounds a good idea! Is there a cafe there?

OleMama · 01/05/2006 13:36

There is a coffee shop there and you can sit either inside or out.

gingernutlover · 01/05/2006 16:58

hello, was lovely to meet all of you and your little ones. Knowle park sounds nice. Have not been there before but have driven past and seen the deer I think.

Hi there

Yes, def on for Knowle Park - could we do an afternoon as Georgia would love to come too !!

milkandhoney · 09/05/2006 18:06

Hi there. Sorry i haven't been around for a while - had to take dd2 to hospital to have an abscess on her neck drained.

Bit short notice, I know, but would anyone be around for coffee in Sevenoaks tomorrow morning (wed 10 May)? Say 10.30 am in Costa Coffee? (lower down the high street than Cafe Nero, where we met last time).
If I don't hear back from anyone, maybe we could arrange something for Knowle Park next week. Tuesday would be a good day for me. Any takers?

OleMama · 13/05/2006 13:45

Hi

Sorry I didnt reply to your coffee suggestion last week, I only tend to go on the internet at weekends. If you are all meeting up in the afternoon, the earliest I can probably get there is 2.45/3.00 as daughter has her nap after lunch, but am willing to meet for coffee again if thats the preferred option.

snufflepuss · 15/05/2006 19:10

Hi there

Sorry, not been around either.

I can't do Tuesdays and the only afternoons are Monday or Wednesday. Mornings I definitely can't do Fridays either - not much help I'm afraid !

Anyway, still happy to meet up whenever.

OleMama · 05/08/2006 11:28

Does anyone want to meet at Knowle Park during the holidays? Mornings are better for me, at the moment the only one I cant do is Monday.

julialarissa · 30/08/2006 18:24

If you are still looking or interested in baby classes, i run unique sessions exclusively in the Kent areas of Orpington, Brasted and Ashurst (near Tonbridge Wells) and will shortly be starting new sessions in Bromley. Please have a look at our website www.babysensory.co.uk or www.babysensory.co.uk/testimonials.htm for testimonials.

Our activities for babies have been designed to stimulate the senses and help your baby develop. We are confident that these baby activities will also delight and surprise both you and your baby. We use a combination of original and traditional songs and rhymes to develop early communication skills and you will always remember the moment your baby first uses the signs of our 'Say Hello' song which is played at the beginning of each Baby Sensory class. More details about the experiences you will share with your baby at our baby classes can be found on the Sample Session page and the 'Say Hello' song plays whilst you look through our Home Page.

Our baby classes are designed for babies from birth to 13 months and we hold separate sessions for birth to 6 months and 7 months to 13 months.

If you are interested in hearing more you can email me directly at [email protected]

Kind Regards,

Lucy

Hi there,

I am expecting my first baby around the 19th October and am new to the Sevenoaks area. I would love to meet some new mums in the Sevenoaks area. It would be good to hear of any places that mums go for walks, coffee have fun and chat and also enjoy a glass of wine!!
