I have a 3 month old dd and really need to get out and meet some other mums in the area or even just email/post on here - just feeling a bit isolated at the moment and all my friends are single and childless. I live in the Tunbridge wells/Tonbridge area and would love to hear from anyone who lives near

Hi all,

We will make it one day! Daughter is much better now thankfully, but it has taken a week for the tummy bug to go, and I have had it slightly as well. I'm up for meeting up again, but not next Friday as I wont see the messages in time, perhaps in a couple of weeks.

Sounds good to me. Hope everyone's dc are well. Hotpoint didn't turn up - requested 2 man delivery and only had 1. Live in Victorian house with door on the side of the house - he was never going to get it in & remove the faulty one - so I spend ANOTHER Friday am hostage in my house due to Hotpoint/Indesit!!
Have a lovely weekend and perhaps we'll all get to meet soon!

I cant make 21st, but can make 7th, but unfortunately, I dont normally go on during the week so probably wont get to know what it going on in time, may be if you do go this Friday, I'll miss this one and meet up the next time.

Hello I'm coming into this thread rather late but am Sevenoaks mum with 7 month old little girl and would be interested in joining in any meet-ups, especially ones involving good cake. Happy to meet in T Wells, Tbridge or SOaks.

my dd is 7months too perhaps if we do manage a meet up they could sit and pull each tohers hair! dd's fave atm is hair.

I am around quite a bit at the mo as no toddlers etc but would still like to meet up if anyone fancies it

Hi gingernutlover. My dd is also mad on pulling hair, noses, lips and anything else she can grab with her sweaty little hands. Have been finding strands of my rapidly greying hair in her nappy. When was your dd's dob?

If you'd like to meet up for mutual hair-pulling session (which might be more difficult for your dd since mine is still worryingly baldy) we're not around at moment because of Easter but will be from 25th April onwards.

hi, dd is also still quite bald it's just everyone else hair she likes!. She was born 9th sept, what about your dd?

Hello again, gnl. There are only four days between our dds' birthdays: mine was born on 13th September although she was 3 wks prem. She will be relieved to know she is not alone in being follically challenged .

Happy to arrange meet now or nearer the time. We're free the 25, 26 and 28 if any of those are good for you. Afternoon preferable since I am still hopeless at getting us out of the house with all the paraphenalia and gives more time to fit in a nap for dd. Bet you're more together than I am .

I doubt it very much actaully, am not very organised and it drives me mad. DD was 2 weeks prem so sounds like the baldies have lots in common, will check the calendar and get back to you.

I am resurfacing - sorry for the absence, lost track of this thread again. Where are we up to ? I am happy to meet up but am tied to dd1's school hours (8.45-12.00) so would have to work round these. 7Oaks is easier for me in the circumstances but would be able to make a 10ish meet up in TW.

Any takers ?

Just wrote a long message and lost it ... drat.

Right, cut to the chase. Love to meet up. Can do Monday, Wednesday or Thursday morning in 7Oaks but have to be able to pick dd1 up at 12.00. Or if an afternoon then have to include dd1, but could do a Monday or possibly a Wednesday.

Let me know what you think and if anyone else is up for it, then look forward to hearing from you too

Ok - how about Wednesday 26, 10.30am at Cafe Nero which is the largest one in Sevenoaks - Wednesday is market day so it might be a bit busy. I'll try and get a table at the front as the back is for the smokers.
