thanks for a miracle of organisation custy - not sure if you are brave or foolish or both. I think the drink buyer in a lovely skirt was Gomez. Hi Gomez if you're there - lovely to chat about our dds. I hope I wasn't slurring...seem to remember it was pretty late

Soph - you rock babes. Really have to meet up with you Countess & Willow when I've had this baby and get into some trouble!

Roobietherednosedreindeer · 27/11/2005 17:15

So how did it work .... did you find out each others real names or just stick to MN names all night?

Heathcliffscathy · 27/11/2005 17:20

oh yessss tc.

Cadbury · 27/11/2005 17:20

pretty much to mn names

LadySherlockofLGJ · 27/11/2005 17:22

Yes. we were still using them in Mars house this morning, it was easier.

Particularly as GingerBear and Cadders share the same Christian name.

Cadbury · 27/11/2005 17:23

didn't answer to either though! Well, not if I'm bending over at the time

Enid · 27/11/2005 17:25

enid, at one point quite early on, someone (can't remember who) on being introduced to me exclaimed 'god you look about 10 years too young to be you' which might sound like a compliment but as i said at the time means that i come across like an officious old cow on here!!!

sunchowder · 27/11/2005 17:28

What a lovely thread...I wish I could have been there with all of you too! Sounds like it was fantastic. Can't wait to see some photos too!

Carmenere · 27/11/2005 17:29

Gomez's skirt was fab! And she is too, I had lovely chats with her and she should get a prize for coming all the way from somewhere thats an hour north of Edinborough!

WalkinginaRainbowWonderland · 27/11/2005 17:30

Sounds like it was a fun evening... yes I agree, where's the photos!?

Heathcliffscathy · 27/11/2005 17:31

novaandypowder was absolutely gorgeous too and i cannot believe that she's just had a baby!

Enid · 27/11/2005 17:32

lol sophable

dont worry I expect everyone would imagine me to look like a grey haired pillar of the WI

Bunglie · 27/11/2005 17:39

I got back a couple of hours ago and I am still 'hungover' I slept most of the way on the train and my dh is now wondering what I really did do!!

I had a great time and I would like to thank you ALL for you patience as you had to wait for me to go up and down stairs on my bum! and also thank you for holding the mens loo door open for me...it was easier than trying to get in the ladies!

I think that Mnetters are very special people and it has been an honour to meet you all....

Caligyulea · 27/11/2005 17:46

Think my cold's incubated nicely. I hope I haven't passed it on to anyone.

The only bad hting was not having enough time to talk to people for as long as you wanted. It was a bit like I imagine speed dating to be (In fact, if it's as much fun as a Mumsnet meet-up I might try it! ) And also realising that you've already asked this woman who she is three times before. Did that with about twenty people. Sorry.

hub2dee · 27/11/2005 17:53

And I heard several times - "oh you're Caligula... love your posts"
