Come on, give us the gossip, we want details

I want to know who got completely legless?
Who won prize for outfit of the night, surely it was bauble99 and her majorette uniform, no? (glitter)
Who got down like a bad thing on the dance floor?
Feel free to add anymore - when are the photos going to be posted?

wilbur · 27/11/2005 08:51

Oh there were so many people I wanted to talk to and didn't get around to - not enough time. And a couple of lovely folks I chatted to and don't know who they were due to my rubbish eyesight in low light (felt a bit awkward pressing my face to people's bosoms to read the badges). CD - wanted to say hello to you, don't think I did.

stitch · 27/11/2005 08:55

i had a fab fab fab time. was great meeting you all. lots and lots of positive feelings and words, which im not quite eloquent enough to say right now.
am off back to be now, as a little bit tired.

Hi MeggyMoo!

I'm not sure I can answer any of your questions, but I nominate the table I was on for being the loudest, seeing as Mars and LGJ were on it, at opposite ends, fighting each other tooth and nail for every precious drop of red, LOL.

TC possibly won my 'sleekest hair' award and had exceedingly fantastic dancing bump.

My table had a bunch of great people:

Enjoyed meeting hunker and her mini munker in the bunker too and hope we can eat chips in Sea Pebbles one day (maybe when any gestational diabetes is off the scene, hey, sneaky ?)

Caders wins my 'most incredible red' hair award, she's lovely.

We also had sweetie-pie gingerbear, currently working her ass off unpacking at Mars' LOL.

We had Flossam too (never did ask what that work-related disaster was !). Tall and gorge.

Opposite was QueenVic (previously vickitiredmum) who was wide awake and has great cleavage, LOL.

Next to her chicagomum is back in town looking for new teeth to drill.

Mars is a very funny bunny. V. lively indeed, in the nicest possible way, and lives close by so I am sure we will see each other again.

I always thought LGJ was quieter and more serious than she was. (ie. she's noisy and crazy everyone, LOL). She is fantastically warm, made me feel very welcome.

And of course the fab bubble, who failed to bring the threatened guitar, hid her armadillo pants rather well and was an all-round gem. And prettier than that nasty photo she posted a while ago, LOL

I'm sure I'm missing someone too. TBH there was a fair amount of table shufflage going on as well, and I am v. v. crap at remebering names or faces.

I tried to say hi to most folk there, if I didn't say hi, or don't remember you in the future on MN, sorry: too many names and faces and cryptic name tags to take in.

ThomCat · 27/11/2005 09:33

And you won the smiliest eyes MrHub

Pssssttt - I think Cadbury was on your table wasn't she?

hatstand · 27/11/2005 09:40

morning everyone. lovely to meet some of you last night though I have a feeling there were lots of familiar names taht I didn't get round to chatting to. Stitch made me laugh, Medea is very elegant, Hoxton CHick lovely, Thomcat did indeed have a great bump, hub2dee really is a man...

dinosaur · 27/11/2005 09:41

Hatstand and coathanger were at my table, in the furniture-themed corner...

hub2dee · 27/11/2005 09:42

ThomCat · 27/11/2005 09:43

Morning Hatstand, - and you have the most lovely blue eyes

ThomCat · 27/11/2005 09:44

Oh yeah - sorry - Caders, of course, wondered who Caders was, it all makes sense now.

Brill night. Thanks to those early on who made sure I wasn't being a wallflower as I felt dead nervous and knew no-one. The wine flowed and so did the conversations. Everyone was dead friendly, no one seemed to mind having people staring at their chests trying to decipher name badges (great idea and a brill ice-breaker).

Thank you so much Custy, you're a star!

Fantastic meetup, though there were a crowd of very suspicious looking men upstairs when we arrived.... Great fun putting names to faces. Wine glasses were titchy though - it felt as if I was ever on the hunt for a Bottle... Most MNers far more glam than anticipated, esp the pg ones!

hub2dee · 27/11/2005 10:21

Only camera I saw all night was gggggggglimpopos IIRC.

sis · 27/11/2005 10:29

Thank you custy for organising and thank you everyone who was there for your fab company.

And yes, weren't the pregnant MNers sooo glam and totally unlike a sack of potatoes that I resembled when I was pregnant!

harpsichordcarrier · 27/11/2005 10:33

I love the notion of blueteddy mistaking Custy for a waitress...
hahaha

bossykate · 27/11/2005 10:43

morning all

thank you, custy. it was a great night, brilliantly organised.

far too big to meet everyone, but i was really pleased to put some new names to faces and to meet familiar faces again.

respect to all the pg mumsnetters who showed up - not only looking so glamourous but well for just having the energy really!
