As promised.... here is the beginnings of our January Meet-up.

Choices are:

Glasgow
Edinburgh
Falkirk
Stirling
Perth

Perth is a bit far for me (no car), apart from that I'm not too bothered where it is.

DATE: SUNDAY 15th JANUARY 2006

Now we have some choices:

  1. With or without kids
  2. Meal or just coffees
  3. Is it an evening
  4. Is it an evening involving alchohol.

..Not that I'm trying to sway y'all towards a good swally!

Sign in folks.

Far too hectic at work - haven't even had a chance to stop and think. So much for the supposed "take things easy for a wee while so you don't burn out like the last time"

This was my quick peek at Mumsnet before heading off home - don't know when I'll have a chance to look again.

xmasmcmudding · 16/12/2005 10:01

Don't think I can make it to Falkirk - it'll be pushing 2 hours to get there and another 2 back which I would consider during the day but won't manage for an evening - sorry folks! Definitely next time!

Where in Fife are you Suzi2?

jambuttie · 03/01/2006 11:52

recap

Saturday 14th January
6.30pm?

It was dinner in Falkirk wasn't it??

Toothache · 04/01/2006 12:25

Yup, dinner in Falkirk, BTW. Haven't booked yet as I want to confirm numbers first.

Saltire - Fife is only nextdoor to Falkirk, 10 miles perhaps!! Where are you in Fife?

Prettybird · 04/01/2006 23:44

I'm still up for it - although my dh is a bit iffy about it, as it's in Falkirk and he'll have just been in Airdrie that afternoon supporting his football team (although as he outs it, he doesn't support football, he supports Airdie! !). Actually, he's OK about it really.

Happy New Year everyone!

saltire · 05/01/2006 10:29

I'm very near St Andrews, but don't drive!! I know i should but i really panic.

Toothache · 05/01/2006 11:31

Saltire - You couldn't drive anyway.... we're having a drink! I don't drive either... coz I'm a great big blouse when I get behind the wheel of a car!!!!!!!

Good news PB - Looking forward to seeing you.

I'll book it tomorrow so it would be great if we could have definite numbers by then. At the moment it looks like:

Toothache
Ja9
Aimsmum
Kalex
Diane77
Prettybird
Gomez
Jambuttie
Judebear

So thats 9.

ANYONE ELSE?

diane77 · 05/01/2006 12:09

Toothache · 05/01/2006 13:15

Jambuttie - If you follow signs for Falkirk Grahamston Train Station.... and park there, you're just 50yrds from Behind The Wall.

Maybe I shouldn't drink either.... don't want to be the one who falls on her arse!

suzi2 · 05/01/2006 22:58

Saltire - I'm in Dunfermline but soon moving to Kelty.
