Are Bristolian Scousers allowed last minute please?

I only just saw this thread and wouldn't mind meeting up. I am a lightweight, so will drink loads in the first hour and get really pissed and have to go after a few hours rather than lasting 'til late though.

oldsilver · 03/09/2011 15:40

Have booked me train tickets so am definitely a-go-go

MoaningMcMyrtlepants · 03/09/2011 20:13

Riven, my sincere apologies, I didn't realise.

Update for Noobs! Grin

Venue HERE

Saturday 17th September, 2.00pm until whenever.

5-10 minute walk from Train/Bus station, is also very close to several car parks.

1 minute walk to Thermae Spa, 3 minutes to Greggs.

I can put some of you up in Bohemian 70's squalor nice Edwardian villa if you have thigh muscles and bladders of steel don't mind sharing - have a double and 2 singles in spare attic bedroom, plus a few big sofas.

AddictedtoCrunchies · 05/09/2011 16:49

I'm back. Been to Scotland for two weeks and had a jolly nice time. But gained 9lbs so not so good.

I'm a bit nervous now it's getting closer. If I walk into the Cork Vaults at 2pm how will I know where you all are? I have visions of me wandering up to random parties of ladies and looking a tit. Is there some form of secret signal??

TheRhubarb · 06/09/2011 11:49

I think the Cork Vaults have been booked under the name of Mumsnet so they will have a table all ready for us. Just go in and say you are from Mumsnet and you'll be directed to the right place.

I'm going in with a few others and don't mind picking up some stragglers along the way - can meet outside Greggs if you like? That way no-one has to walk in on their own.

I may have another friend to add to the list and this morning I nearly invited a mum from school. I get like that when excited, I just invite everyone. At the last Manchester meet-up I went on I invited some guy to come and join us, I think he was homeless, I bought him a pint.

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 06/09/2011 13:37

Happy to send you (or indeed any of the others coming) my mobile number nearer the time if you PM me, Crunchies. Can meet people off the bus/train too if they're nervous.

TheRhubarb · 06/09/2011 17:41

I need a map.
