Waiting for Kara...

Can non-members see this area? She knows my user name :/

But basically she went weird and distant (which is already difficult in a long distance relationship) Started talking to her ex again and couldn't understand why I was feeling insecure by that.

StealthPolarBear · 14/08/2011 15:08

Not sure tbh - don't think I see other areas' threads in my active conversations, but don't think anything would prevent someone looking. Possibly best not to risk it or use OTBT...
But yes, that sounds a bit crap

Juney - I recommend using OTBT. So sorry, Juney, offering you a big {{{{{{hug}}}}}}}

juneybean · 14/08/2011 18:35

Thanks :) Totally gutted by it all.

Indith · 15/08/2011 20:21

juney I'm so sorry x

Kara that sounds fab but I'm pretty much sticking to stuff that is free at teh moment with the occasional exception for swimming with the lousy weather!

We had the fabbest day out on Saturday at The Forbidden Corner. It was the Village trip so completely paid for by the village with money they make from hiring the hall out, coffee mornings and so on. If you've never been though it is well worth the day out, it is absolutely fantastic. Took about an hour and a half to get there by coach so not too far for the day.

KaraStarbuckThrace · 15/08/2011 20:32

Looks interesting! Closer to me as well, might talk to DH about it.

In the meantime park meet up? Weather is supposed to be fine all week, I can do wed/fri?

Indith · 16/08/2011 15:30

I'm waiting to hear bak from a friend about doing something Friday, otherwise next week Tues, Thursday or Wed/Fri lunch/afternoon time. I've got nothing apart form the usual round of groups arranged yet for next week.

KaraStarbuckThrace · 17/08/2011 22:11

Great.

Feeling very needy of adult company right now....

Indith · 18/08/2011 16:42

You ok kara?

When can people do next week then?

KaraStarbuckThrace · 19/08/2011 23:10

Bit stressed atm, tbh.
If it is for cakey goodness, best days for me are Tuesday and Thursday when DS is at nursery but if we want to meet up at a park and have a picnic then Wednesday and Fridays DS is off nursery.

StealthPolarBear · 19/08/2011 23:16

what's up Kara?
Can't make cake I'm afraid :(

OP posts:
KaraStarbuckThrace · 20/08/2011 08:00

I'll put a thread in OTBT about it, under a different username as a couple of relatives now know my username on here. You will recognise it :)

Indith · 23/08/2011 13:41

Park on Friday?

KaraStarbuckThrace · 23/08/2011 15:59

Sounds good to me! Will go along to the clinic at 9:30 to get Cara weighed, and then head up to Durham for about 10:30-11am ish.
I shall bring a picnic lunch!
Which park is it?

Indith · 23/08/2011 16:14

No no no, sorry! I'm useless, I'm at bf in the morning so yes picnic lunch but it will be 11.30-12 when I get there. Wharton park is sort of above the station. There is an entrance on North Road but you have to park on the street there or if you go up the road on the other side (can't remember what road it is, towards the hospital, not the A690) then you can turn into the park and park for free by the swings.

KaraStarbuckThrace · 23/08/2011 17:38

That'll be fine, there is a stay and play as well so we might stop there and then come up to Durham after that.

KaraStarbuckThrace · 25/08/2011 20:33

We need a plan B... heavy rain predict all day tomorrow, boooooo!

Indith · 06/09/2011 21:57

getting you on my list and bumping before I head off to bed. WE need to regroup and get together :)

Pudden · 08/09/2011 13:37

I've just found this thread again an am marking me place for future events :)

Indith · 09/09/2011 10:01

Hello Pudden :)

Where are the rest of you hiding?

How has school gone Spiggy and SPB? Ds absolutely loves it, he is still rather miffed at having to go home after lunch as they are doing half days for the first week.

spiggy · 09/09/2011 14:55

Hello Pudden welcome back!

Indith, DS is the same he loves it. He is doing mornings this week, afternoons next and only goes full time the week after. (good job I'm on Mat leave really) DD is the one who has been a problem- she keeps screaming the place down "I WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL!" Am thinking of recording it and playing it back to her when she is about 13 Grin. Got a few funny looks when I picked M up with H and T in tow- think the other mothers were trying to work out if they were all mine Grin How are you doing anyway? Has the sickness eased off now?

We must meet up again soon- it isn't that long til I go back to work Shock (actually mid-nov but time just seems to be running away with me).

spiggy · 14/09/2011 11:52

anyone want to do anything on mon or tues next week? DP away and I will need some gin cake company.

You can help me plan a big event Grin Actually it will be a very very small and secret event but I'm sure there is still some planning to be done.

Indith · 15/09/2011 14:23

What would you like to do?

KaraStarbuckThrace · 15/09/2011 20:56

Spiggy, tempting! But have already got plans for both those days. Although I could sack off the breastfeeding group on Monday. I would need to bring DS along, so hopefully it'll be a nice day so we could do a park meet?
Got the NCT bra fitter coming on Tuesday morning, and DS possibly has a playdate in the afternoon (the mum is going to come back to me).

spiggy · 16/09/2011 09:59

Don't mind what we do- although people may have to keep poking me awake. T seems to be taking a leaf out of DS1's book and has been waking every hour and demanding a 45 min feed. Which I could just about cope with if he would co-sleep but he won't settle next to me and has to go in the side car cot which means I have to feed sitting up. Haven't been able to sleep during the day because of M only doing 1/2 days at school. Sorry for the pathetic whinge but I'm tired and grumpy and want some sleeeeeeeeeeep.

Park sounds good if it is fine, will give DD a chance to run around and hopefully wear herself out
