Thought I'd start a new thread for this, as the old one had got a bit rambly... The big daytime meet-up was a huge success and be lovely to get as many people as possible out... are w/c 9th or 13th May good for anyone?

Only for a while.

Grin Great minds and all that. Although I'm not sure that I'm cut out to be your VPL.

Bottom-obsessed, you are. Grin

I was thinking about you the other day because we had a swarm on our potting shed roof. The moved off eventually, but is there anything I should/shouldn't do if they look like settling?

LizHurleysVPL · 16/05/2011 22:13

Yes - call me and I'll come and collect them and remove your shoe collection at the same time. Bees are at their gentlest when swarming - they'll settle somewhere for a few hours before going off to their permanent home.

OK. I will.

The people who actually went to the meet are very quiet, aren't they?

Do you think they are still recovering? Perhaps there was a big BF/FF scrap or something. Grin

Probably all got hammered on alcohol laced frootshoots, wearing linen trousers and are too ashamed to post Wink

I was a wee bit hungover the next day, and I only had two glasses of wine . I'm not the one who ended up walking barefoot down St Benedicts, though...
