NORWICH evening meet-up

Thought I'd start a new thread for this, as the old one had got a bit rambly... The big daytime meet-up was a huge success and be lovely to get as many people as possible out... are w/c 9th or 13th May good for anyone?

Shall we say 8pm, to give those of us with little ones a chance to get them to bed first? The tapas on St Benedicts is Don Pepe, I think. Did we want to meet in a pub first or straight at the restaurant?

I have just PMed everyone who signed up earlier with a kick up the bum gentle request to pop back and confirm. I'm a definite anyway! I shouldn't think it would be packed on a Weds night but no harm in booking a table.

Sorry sorry sorry - I'm crap, and I know I am.

I can't make it. DD is babysitting (someone else) Tuesday, and then for me Thurs evening when I have a meeting - I can't ask her to do Wednesday as well, and I have no alternative babysitter at the moment - when you have an adult DC at home you start to take babysitting for granted.

Have a drink for me and have a great time. Try the Gambas :)

I also have a friend that would like to come, she's new to Norwich, I met her on Netmums but I don't think she'll try to hug anyone Grin. So that's at least six of us (mild confusion over RL/MN names), I'll book a table for six at 8pm then?

FIL still in hospital (5 weeks now). He's less confused but has managed to pick up a D&V bug and pneumonia, so very poorly.

I won't be able to make it because DH will be visiting him in King's Lynn and then taking his mum home.

Hope you all have a fun time and come back here with all the gossip. Looking forward to the next daytime get-together.

Sorry I can't make it - would have loved to come and was re arranging other commitments. But have managed to come down with a UTI and also large patch of eczema on my face (attractive) so not feeling too great.

Hello all.

Just to let you know I have deactivated my facebook account as I have applied for a job. I know some employers search facebook, so I don't want to take any chances. Will only be for about 7-10 days. Therefore the mn group may have disappeared. I didn't want to change the privacy settings. As I say I will be up and running again in about 10 days and it will all be back to normal again.
