See you all tomorrow I will be easy to spot, I'll be the one waddling!

Scaryskribble · 29/10/2005 23:23

Too scary for me. I will be waiting to hear how it was and who actually turned up and who turned out to be a hairy armed trucker .

Not a chance I like to float about in cyber space and pretend nobody knows me. I know if anyone did know me they would have regognised me by now. If I came I would just rope you into having Stocking Filler Parties and hand out business cards, captive audience and all that.

Scaryskribble - Lucky I was wearing long sleeves. And I agree, it was nice to meet everyone. Sorry for reticence about admitting to nickname. Whole thing wasn't scarey at all and really good for the kids. Nightmare getting the paint off though Aimsmum! Had to threaten Arran with prospect of looking like a girl with make-up if he didn't let me get out the wire wool. Look forward to meeting everyone and more in January.

Aww. Thanks Aimsmum. He is alright isn't he? And I saw your admission Starshaker! Any feedback on Domestos after effects?

roomonsammacsbroom · 30/10/2005 21:26

Dunked spiderboy in the bath as soon as we got home- he fell asleep in the car too!

It was lovely to meet more people, now when I see your names I can picture you all. We all enjoyed ourselves and even managed to pop into fraser's for a bit of make-up on way out( never taken ds into Glasgow before!)

roomonsammacsbroom · 30/10/2005 21:28

ps and thanks aimsmum for the lovely comment on the other one!

Ericblack · 30/10/2005 21:45

Oh and by the way, the meet-up cost me 120 quid as I missed a text and calls from my husband asking if he should buy two watches for 60 quid each for his daughters (I told you about them Prettybird). Much as I don't want to be a wicked stepmother my hastily texted NO was sadly too late.

no strangely enough no comment has been made about the domestos. maybe every1 does it

sweetkitty · 31/10/2005 08:33

Well I have an admission, I turned up at Princes Square but couldn't see anyone who even looked like a mumsnetter (don't know what a mumsnetter looks like though) it was all couples and families. So we stayed for a little bit and that was us. Streets of Glasgow played havoc with my joint pain and I've really suffered last night and this morning.

Feel a bit of an idiot but didn't want to go round asking everyone "are you from mumsnet?" Looking back I should have arranged to meet one of you outside Princes Square or the station or something first and taken a contact number. Still I'll know for next time.

Glad you all had a nice time.
